Annalise is one of the main protagonists of the series, and yet at times, her behavior makes her look the complete opposite. On the surface, she looks like a perfectly normal girl, but it couldn't be further from the truth. It wouldn't be a stretch to call her a psychopath, who manipulated people and turned them against one another.
She is an excellent liar, who can keep a normal face while lying, which made it nearly impossible for the people around her to figure out whether she was lying or not. Throughout the entire series, she manipulates other characters, which caused serious harm to their mental health.

Annalise works as a personal bodyguard to Peeta Mallark and Katniss Everdeen though it's more than just professional obligation that keeps Annalise on the job - it's her deep and abiding loyalty toward them. While she's frustrated by having to clear up problems Katniss causes thanks to her irresponsible nature, she also genuinely admires Katniss and her ideals, and will do anything in her power to not just protect her, but help her succeed. Because of her unwavering loyalty, which is obvious to both Peeta and Katniss, she's able to criticize them and have the two take her seriously - a tall order for a hot-headed man and an Impulsive woman. Just as she's loyal to them, they feel much the same way about her.

Who could intentionally score exactly fifty out of a hundred on each of the tests? A person like Annalise, a female with a genius brain. Annalise observational skills might actually terrify you, and that's the reason why she is easily able to deduce her opponent's plans. Despite being an introvert, she has such manipulative skills that she can easily make anyone do what she wants. She's a master when it comes to hiding her motives and bluffing with someone.
