Part 20

"Now?"
"N..."
They were almost gonna kiss when the bell rang and shraddha realised she was almost gonna let varun kiss her and so she ran and opened the door to find all their friends. "Hey...guys...what are you doing here?"
"Varun told us you got injured and so we decided to see you after school"
"Ohh..oops i am so stupid pls come inside"
They all came and they all sat at the living room.
"So? What happened? How did u get injured?" Sid asked her. Varun was going to say something lie as he thought shraddha would be uncomfortable. But shraddha stopped him and told him "it's about time i should tell them the truth."
"What truth?" Raghav asked.
"About my life."
"Your life?" Aditya asked
"Yes." She took a deep breath and started telling them how they had a very happy family but after that her step-father came to her life and how at first he acted like a very good father when mom was there but as soon as she started going out for work he started beating her and blackmailed her if she ever tried to tell the truth to her mom and all horrible tortures he had done. She left the part that shanaya was not actually a singer and she didn't even say that part to Varun.
"Shraddha you could have told us we would have helped you" said Alia.
"Yaa we would have beat the shi..." Kiara stopped when she saw shraddha making a face as she didn't like bad words "sheet out of him"
"Ya i would have just sit on him and he would have died then and there" Bunty said.
"Still shraddhu you could have told us" Said tushar.
"I didn't want you guys to get hurt because of me. He is a very dangerous guy and i was afraid he would do something to you as well as my sister"
"Ok whats done is done now. Now you are finally free from that monster. Just remember shraddha we will always be there for you" Said Alia and all agreed. Shraddha smiled and gave each one of them hug and while hugging she also gave hug to Varun which she later realised and blushed again but thankfully no one noticed.
After that all were just chatting all evening.

Every one decided to have a small party and since Varun's mom and dad were on a business trip and his sister and Shraddha's sister were having night out their friends decided to have a movie night and so the boys except for Varun went to shop all the food needed and girls and varun were cleaning up. Shraddha was waiting for them as all of them strictly forbid her from cleaning.
After they were done cleaning the boys returned shortly. When they saw the cover they saw they had also brought can beer. The girls started scolding them but then it was of no use so they stopped. They decided to watch a horror movie. Shraddha and varun sat at the either end of the sofa. Slowly their friends started coming and asked varun to sift and soon he was next to shraddha and that too very close. The movie started and all were watching. The girls except for kiara and raghav were getting scared.
Shraddha was clutching the pillow and varun was looking at her with amusement. Suddenly a ghost came and shraddha hugged Varun out of fear. Varun was little taken back at first but then he smiled and held shraddha's hand. Shraddha was too scared to notice and varun was smiling at her all the time. After the movie was done they played several games and the boys were drinking and they made Varun drink too.
After all was done the girls picked up the drunk boys and told shraddha they were leaving when shraddha said " Guys its very late besides who would drive the car? You guys stay here for the night "
" No shraddha it's fine besides we have to go to college tomorrow so it's fine and kiara is their na to drive the car so don't worry" Said Alia.
"Ok so let me at least help you carry the boys to the car."
" No no its fine...you take care of your boyfriend" Nora smirked and said.
"H...he is not my boyfriend"
"Ya sure" Said kiara
"Really guys"
" Ok ok fine but you go and help him we are leaving "
"Ok bye guys and drive safely and message me when you all reach"
"Ya ya now bye" Said nora
After they left shraddha went inside and saw varun sleeping on sofa and saw the little mess and decided to clean. She tried to but couldn't do it and so she just put the pizza boxes and beer cans to a side and went to wake varun up.
She called him but there was no response and so she tapped him several times still no response and she was not in a condition to carry him and so she decided to bring blanket to him and when she was about to leave varun pulled her down and made her sit on the table opposite to him. She was little taken back. Varun stared at her for few seconds before going close to her and kissed her. Shraddha was now fully shocked. Before she could say or do anything her pulled out and went back to sleep.
"You... You dumbo..." She stamped her feet and at that time she got the message in the group chat that they have reached she looked at varun in annoyance and flustered and then went back to being the blanket. At first she was going to sleep their only but after this little incident she didn't want to repeat that and so after covering varun with blanket she went back to her bedroom and tried to sleep.

Next day shraddha woke up and went to prepare breakfast for her and varun. She saw Varun still asleep in sofa. She also prepared lemon juice for varun. After few minutes varun woke up with his hand resting on his head. Shraddha went to him and gave him the lemon juice. Varun took it and said thanks. Usually shraddha would respond to him but today she did not as she was angry with him. Varun noticed it and asked "did something happen to you?"
She sighed and said "you don't remember anything do you?"
"Um...i remember we were watching movie last night and then playing games...that's it"
"That's it!?"
"Ya...did something happen between us last night?"
"No. Nothing. I want to go college today."
"No shraddha i already told you that you are not going until you are fully recovered"
"But my notes..."
"I will get it to you"
"Not only that i need to be in classes to understand"
"I will help you out. You won't go that's final"
"I will"
"Will not"
"Will"
"If you do that i will kiss you"
"You already did last night so doesn't matt-"
She closed her mouth immediately. Both were silent for a minute. One of shocked and the other one was embarrassed. After some minutes Varun finally spoke "um...so i kissed you huh..."
"Ya...you were pretty drunk i guess"
"Hmm... I'm sorry for kissing you without your consent"
"It's okay now eat your breakfast and then we will leave for college"
"Shraddha...i told you that-"
"I will not write anything pakka... I will only listen to what the teacher is saying and i will maintain my distance with everyone"
Varun sighed but agreed any way.
They ate breakfast and then left for college.
