Coming up on the lab, Chief Burns honked his horn as they approached.
"Chief, you'll want to see this." Doc cried as he looked over at them. Waving at them to come over
"Understood, bots you stay here, Clara, Cody you're with me." Chief Burns commented as he pulled the boat up next to the lab, jumping off it and onto the lab. Julie helped Cody, before she herself jumped off and onto the lab deck. Julie subtly shifts into her ninja outfit, mask, hood, and all, minus the shoes.
Doc Green worked on the screen as it revealed an image of the shark machine on it, shooting a laser.
"Not a real shark, Mr. Mayor, but best to stay out of the water for now." Chief Burns spoke onto his comlink. "
"Incredible..." Doc commented as a more clear image of the object pulled up.
"Hey Doc, do you think anyone's in that submarine?" Cody asked.
"Jamming signals, changing course to attack, I would think so." Doc Green replied.
"Is it possible for a 'submarine,' as you called it, to be controlled without anyone inside?" Julie asked, looking at Doc.
"It may be possible, but it would take an expert scientist to work something up like that." Doc replied. "Why do you ask?"
"I don't believe someone would want to get caught, while destroying property."
"I'll contact the sub on the emergency maritime channel and get to the bottom of this." Chief Burns replied, walking away from them.
"Whoever's that thing must really hate your tech, Doc. I mean, first it attacked your pulsers, then your fishing rod.." Cody explained.
"My fishing rod?" Doc asked. "Ah, electromagnetics. Everything the submarine has targeted uses them. The electromagnetic pulses must be what attracts it, but why it would want to stop them, I have no idea."
Julie merely sighed, as she walked away from them and back over to the boat, seems like everyone was determined to remind her of her friends. Just like how Ratchet from Team Magnus used electromagnetics for his ability to help treat people. Jumping onto the boat, she could feel the bots glancing at her, but she merely just shook her head and ignored them, as she sat down against the wall of the boat, pulling her legs up against her chest as she laid her head down on them.
"Heatwave, if you can lower this into the water, we're gonna try to lure the machine to us. Hopefully we can catch it." Chief Burns exclaimed as Julie looked up to see the bots looking at the device he had. Heatwave grabbed the device and walked over to the edge in front of her as he lowered the device into the water as instructed, while he also kept glancing over to her. Chase and Boulder also close by as they looked at her and watched Heatwave.
"Clara, are you still sick?" Heatwave asked quietly as he looked over at her.
"No, I'm fine, just remembering. I don't understand. I'm trying to focus on how I appreciate having you guys with me now along with the Burns, but everywhere I look, more memories of my past teams keep flying back at me. I don't even miss my parents as much as I miss them. I truly have enjoyed my time on this mission, so far, but at the same time I just can't stop thinking about them." Julie exclaimed as she sat there hugging herself. She pulled the hood off her head and pulled the mask off her face.
Chief Burns hopped onto the boat, and started up, before looking over at her. "Clara, are you sure you want to come with us? This may get dangerous."
Julie looked up at him, and stood up. "If you think I am going to turn my face in danger, you are truly mistaken, not when there are people I care about."
