"Hey, four. Look at this."
Before Fu Yue could even respond, a phone was rudely shoved in front of his face.
Fu Yue internally sighed at their ADC's impolite behavior. Nonetheless, he still glanced at the content displayed on the screen.
It was a picture of a certain guy dressed in brand-name clothes leaning against a black Maybach with his hands inserted in his pants pockets.
In addition to his pair of sunglasses and a smirk on his face, his whole person exuded an air of confidence and superiority.
Recognizing who the person was, Fu Yue instantly understood why Sword was being salty.
Pushing the phone away from his face, he nonchalantly commented, "So?"
Seeing his disinterested look, Sword clicked his tongue in annoyance, "Don't you feel unfair? We are all esports players but look at him! His salary is against the sky and has several properties unlike us, who barely get by with livestreaming!"
Fu Yue lightly chuckled, "Unfair? He earns them with his hard work and strength. Who knows how much he has been through to reach his current status?"
Hearing a hint of mockery in his voice, Sword abruptly stood up and pointed a finger at him, his face as black as the bottom of the pot, "Are you saying that I am being a sore loser?!"
Fu Yue innocently blinked, "Did I?"
"You!"
"Okay, okay. We have a match tomorrow, stop fighting."
Their Top Laner, Lu Tian who was also their Leader hurriedly stepped in between them. However, seeing that Sword seemed to be unwilling to back down, Lu Tian lowly warned, "Sword, do you want to get benched?"
Sword flinched at these words. His performance hasn't been up to par lately and it wouldn't do him good to get in trouble with a core player such as 404.
Weighing the pros and cons, Sword angrily harrumphed and stormed out of the training room after leaving a taunting remark.
"Hmph, don't think too highly of yourself! A dirt poor person like you will never get to enjoy that type of luxury!"
Joke on you, I think I will.
At this moment, Fu Yue couldn't help but recall that small episode from the time he had just started his professional gamer career.
If Sword were to be here with him, he would have died due to jealousy.
Fu Yue did guess that his new family was rich judging by their outstanding aura and appearance.
Still, he was gravely mistaken.
They are filthy rich.
"Our parents live at the main house. This is our side villa where we, brothers, are currently staying."
Staring dumbfoundedly at the enormous villa with an extensive garden, Fu Yue who was living in the dormitory provided by the base and owned a small apartment was flabbergasted.
Was this why everyone at the hospital was so scared after finding that he for some reason lost his memories and even forgot some basic knowledge too?
Even Doctor Shu, who was the director, frowned so hard that his eyebrows seemed to be connected into a single line.
If not for Fu Yue seeming to be seriously clueless about ABO-related matters, Doctor Shu would have already suspected that he was lying.
In the end, Doctor Shu concluded that due to the shock he previously experienced, his brain triggered a protective mechanism by forgetting some stuff.
