"Fucking hell, how much did I drink yesterday?" Seungmin groans.
"Enough for you to confess your undying love for me." Hyunjin wiggles his eyebrows at him.

Being in love with your best friend and roommate is hard and things might take a turn when you have too much to drink. - https://archiveofourown.org/works/42852252

The sun outside had already set, coloring the cloudless sky with different hues of orange and red, when the door finally opened.
Seungmin was staring at the page of his Word document, words dancing in front of his eyes and making no sense, when he heard the jingling of keys, announcing the arrival of his roomate.
Hyunjin's hair looks disheveled, bangs a little messy. Tiredness looms over his features and a sigh leaves his mouth when he accidentally drops his keys on the floor, bending down to fetch them.
Yet to Seungmin, he was the prettiest person whenever and wherever.
"Hey Minnie!" He greets, untying his shoelaces. "Oh, it smells good here, did you order something?"
"Actually I...cooked," He answers, wincing in his mind at how small and unsure his voice sounded.
He had no reason to be insecure about it or fear judgment from Hyunjin, the two of them lived with each other long enough to know that Seungmin was a disaster when it came to cooking or baking. Hyunjin wasn't doing much better than him when it came to it.
"Are you for real?" Hyunjin asks, looking like he actually found it hard to believe that Seungmin wasn't joking.
Standing up from his seat at their little dining table and stumbling on his way to the kitchen, Seungmin gets in and goes to the oven. The smell of cheese immediately hits him when he opens it. He turns his head to Hyunjin who followed him, the older's expression appearing amazed.
"It's not really something but um– I figured we could try to eat something homemade for once instead of ramen and store bought meals," He explains, suddenly growing self-conscious about the meal he prepared.
It wasn't much, just a few-steps lasagna recipe he came across while scrolling on a social media app when he couldn't stare anymore at his draft.
"Not much– Seungmin this smells fucking delicious. I would trade every meal just to have this for the rest of my life," Hyunjin says, coming to stand up behind Seungmin and get a better look at the dish.
His breath fans over Seungmin's neck and he feels like exploding right there and then, maybe he even wanted to turn around and kiss Hyunjin on the cheek and drown in domesticity.
But he doesn't do it, because Hyunjin was only his best friend and roommate, nothing more.
"Don't bet on me cooking for you every time you come home from work," Seungmin snides as he plates their food, earning a hearty laugh from Hyunjin that makes his stomach flutter.
"A man can dream," Hyunjin says with a goofy wink, making Seungmin smile.
Hyunjin offers to take the plates to the living room and Seungmin follows after taking a half-empty soda bottle from their fridge and two cups.
The lasagna was...something. It wasn't bad or disgusting to eat but Seungmin could feel that the sauce was a bit too salty and that the cheese was a bit burned.
"This tastes like fucking heaven," Hyunjin says around a mouthful, humming to himself.
"You don't have to lie for the sake of my feelings Jinnie, I'm immune."
