I had just moved into Gavaldon with my dad. I don't really understand why we had to move away from the city, but dad says it's for the best. I've always trusted my dad with my full self. He just always knew when something was wrong. Yes, there have been times when I ignored what he said and did that thing anyway but every time I did he was right about the outcome. Gavaldon was a village buried deep inside the woods. So deep in fact that I wouldn't even know it was there unless you were searching for it. Though I don't know why anyone would look for it. I've been here a grand total of five minutes and already know that this town is boring. " So (Y/N) are you excited for a fresh start?" My dad asks me. 

"Yeah, I guess so," I reply with a dry look on my face. My dad noticing the clear look of boredom on my face then asks," Why so glum chum."

"It's nothing dad, don't worry," I answer trying to seem a little happier. However, dad doesn't buy it one bit." Come on honey there's obviously something."

"It's just," I start."All of my friends live inland and now I live in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do. I'm just scared they will move on and when I next see them, it'll be like they never even knew me."

"oh honey, I know this is going to be a struggle it always is but I'm sure you will make lots of new friends."Hearing this I sigh dejectedly." look I know this isn't what you wanted but since your mom died things have been rough, so I decided to give us a fresh start. so please, just, give this town a chance. I bet you'll love it."

Welp, I've trusted dad before so I guess I shouldn't stop now...
