It's night now the nights are the coldest and darkest. I just got done making some chicken soup until I heard a knock at my door. I looked through my window there was nobody there. I opened my door anyways "Hello? Is anybody there?" I asked no answer of course so I closed the door. It's probably those damn chipmunks in the attic. I got done eating my food and I put my bowl in the sink then I heard it again but it was a louder knock. I looked at the window nobody there I didn't open the door this time. I was about to go upstairs to get ready for bed but I heard the knock again. It was a weak knock like the kind of knock when your desperate to come in but your to cold to make it louder. I looked through the window. That's when I saw it. A man with a deer skull it looked like. It was hard to tell but it looked like he was running. I got so scared I ran upstairs and locked my bedroom door. I didn't hear any anything after that. It was probably because I fell asleep. I woke up and felt the sun's warm rays I got out of bed went downstairs to see if I had any mail. To my surprise there was a box with an envelope taped to it. I took it inside. I opened the envelope first it read *Dear Samantha,
I know you heard me last night. Why didn't you come outside so we could hang out? That's okay maybe next time you will just let me in.
From the Deer Man.* I felt a shiver down my spine I opened the box there was a bone I couldn't tell what bone it was but I got so scared I threw away the box and the letter outside.
