"AntiChrist, Spiritus Non Sancti..."
They did wake up. They knew that such a great thing could never happen. They looked at the white ceiling and sighed.
They stood and groggily stepped out to the hall but didn't see their house. They saw another dream. But they had been so sure just a moment ago while laying the the nonexistent bed they had laid in. They stepped back and gulped.
No. Life wasn't just like this now. This was not actually a thing, it couldn't be. The world isn't meant to be so kind. It's cruel and hard to cope with. There was no such thing as a Satanist church that existed anywhere. There just couldn't, even if it did, it certainly doesn't look like this. It was unrealistic. It was far from anything they had learnt the past few years.
So the dream kept going. Okay. Maybe they could keep living in fake worlds for some more time.
They'd just live in whatever fantasy shit this was. After they showered. Maybe that'd make them wake up and not be as disappointed with life again. That disappointment was one of the worsts feelings. Getting dreams crushed by reality's limits and not being able to have life a certain way. After stumbling out they walked to one of the Ghoul bathrooms. They stepped in and saw a locker, without a lable, and assumed that was theirs. There was polish, some thread and a needle, as well as a small card and some cash.
They decided after breakfast they would do all of that.
They found a note laying on top of the pile of things.
X, I hope you adjust your new items today. All of today will be spent with yourself for forcus (yes music is allowed as long as it is quiet) and they'll guid you on what to do, then you may go and pick out how you want your room to be, as well as casual clothes, though I see you already have some. Every week there will be cleaners who organize your closet and clean your spaces.
After you've showered you may stay out of uniform. Enjoy, my new Ghoul.
-Terzo (Papa) Emeritus
I tucked it back neatly and went down for breakfast. I sat as usual and ate the food that tasted like a dream, which they still were convinced it was.
They climbed the steps and entered the locker room. There were some of the Ghouls standing around and getting ready.
"Lucky you, getting a day off." Aether regarded while lacing up his shoes. He was sitting right next to where they stood getting ready to organize. They smirked.
"Yeah, at least I get a break from those skinny jeans."
"Fair."
"Hey, X, can I talk to you for a second?" They turned and saw Swiss.
"Yeah sure." They said and followed him.
"So, I know you're like new, but I was just wondering, if you perhaps wanted to possibly go to the Clergy party tonight with some Ghoul, maybe you'd be interested in taking a certain Ghoul who had a special bracelet as an idetifier..."
"Oh, no. Also, what Clergy party?"
"It's a formal event. Papa Nihil demanded he be in a party and was mad about not getting to introduce you to his kids properly. It's at nine pm. And if Nihil doesn't drag you away I'd love to be around you a little more. I know Aether was kind of an ass, but I promise he's just protective over the Ghouls even though it doesn't really seem like he does."
"Well, I'd love to. He seems much nicer now than he did before. So yeah, why not."
"Okay, great. Also, if you don't mind, may I ask what hair products you use, it looks so nice." He asked.
"Oh, I use this..."

I had just walked into Terzo Emeritus' office for a meeting about my living situation.
"Ah, welcome in. I'm happy to have you. Before I do anything else, what should I call you, again. I'm sorry if that's rude I just would like to be aware and with you're look I'm a little confused." He asked. He seemed genuinely interested and seemed to care seriously. His thick Swedish accent made his words a little harder to hear, but he was still very clear in how he spoke.
"Oh, yes, you can call me a they, I guess. Nameless Nonbinary Ghoul the first." They smiled.
"Wonderful, thank you. So, if you would like to we have some members who creat outfits and if you perhaps would be interested in writing some clothes on the Church's card I would be happy to let you do that. And throughout the day we can set up your phone or whatever later on the wifi. But, if you may, would you follow me to the décor room. We keep a lot so if a permanent resident moves in we have things for them to start." He smiled. He seemed passionate about the showing of the Clergy's things. He did grow up seeing his dad do all of these things so maybe he had been excited his whole life for this.
"Oh, wow. You have a lot. Oh my lord you have records. Hold on I need to see this."
"Alright, that's pretty expected that you're a music person. So I'll leave you to browse and call the helper Ghouls to help you take it all. Enjoy." He said and closed the door behind him.
They sat on the floor and put in their headphones while looking through all the records. Some seemed like they were originals. There were Mayhem and Berzum records that looked neglected and untouched. They picked out some of their favorites and put them in a pile. They had everything from Iron Maiden to Cannibal Corpse. Most every artist with rock n roll and metal and punk and emo.
It was a dream. Every record they didn't have enough for was free just there laying in front of them.
They continued with a pile of records to books. Horror, essays, old philosophy writers, from known to barely spoken, works that were deemed most important. They grabbed a few poetry books and one of the philosophers they had wanted to read for a while but hadn't gotten around to. Then they moved to furniture. They made note of a few shelves. Nothing too great other than a record storage unit and book shelf. Wonderful.
They could see their room complete already, and then they dug and found posters with everything.
