Prologue

Duri was always an upbeat girl. She seemed to have gotten that from her mother.

"Papa! Papa! Look, it's frog!" The little girl said as she practically stuffed the front into her fathers face.

Her father chuckled.
"Yes, frog. Darling, set the frog down now. Your mother is waiting for you." He said as Duri pouts and sets the frog down and washed her hands.

"Papa? Is Mama gonna come with us to see Papa's friend?" During asked as she dried her hands while looking up to her father for an answer.

Cheon Ma had a strained look on his face before answering. He seemed hesitant due to him not even knowing if his wife was even strong enough to stand.

"Not today. Maybe in a few more weeks." He said as he gently pats his daughters head in a way to confort her.

Duri was was about the information, but decided that she shouldn't be selfish, and let her mother rest.

"Wuryeon!" Duri shouted as she ran twords the boy who was playing with the dogs.

"Ah! Duri!" The two ran to each and hugged. Nearly falling due to how hard the clashed together when they embraced each other.

The two kids were giggling and laughing as the immediately started playing.

Both Duri and Ak Wuryeon's father sat and watched as the two kids chased each other around.

"Cheon Ma, welcome. How is Eun doing?" Ak Wuryeon's mother spoke as she sat next to her husband.

"She's. . . Better then last month. The doctor had told me it's best that I keep Duri away from Eun, but Eun only wants Duri closer to her." Cheon said as he drank his tea.

His wife was a stubborn one, as was he. So you can just imagine the arguments the two have.

As Duri and Wuryeon were playing, Wuryeon tripped and feel straight on his face.

"Wuryeon!" Duri quickly went by Wuryeon's side and helped him up
"Are you okay? Do you need something?" Duri was quick to check for his injuries.

Wuryeon shook his head and smiled
"No, I'm okay! . . . I'm hungry though." He mumbled the last part.

"Okay! I'll get you food wait here." Duri quickly ran to the adults and snatched the cookies that were in front of her father and quickly went to Wuryeon.

The adults laughed as they watched Duri feed Wuryeon.

"Duri is a great big sister for Wuryeon. He has been waiting all week for Duri to come play. It was hard to get him to sleep last night!" Wuryeon's father spoke, followed with a laugh.

Cheon smiled at that, Duri did need something to take her mind off of her ill mother while he delt with things.

Things were good. Nothing was out of place. Yes there were struggles here and there. But nothing they couldn't handle

The two kids were happy with each other. They were too young and distracted with other things to foresee what would happen next.

First, it was Duri's mother. Eun had finally passed, her last words had been burnt into Duri's brain. The words
"I love you both no matter what"
Were supposed to make the young child feel loved.

Feel reassured. But it only made her daubt.

Duri has heard the rumors. How there were actually two babies in Eun's woumb. And how the other devoured the other twin.

Not only did the twin take the others life away, but took the mothers life away as well.

Only a few weeks after, Wuryeon's family was killed and he was taken by Duri's father.

Ak Wuryeon hated Cheon Ma for what he had done to his parents. But never held anything against Duri. Duri was like a sister to him. She always took care of him, even after her mother died, after her father distanced his way from her, she focused on him.

Made sure he was eating well, made sure he grew stronger.

When Duri's father got remarried and had a baby with that woman. Duri's attention, was pulled away from Wuryeon.

She focused on her new baby sister, Liwha.

Oh how she cherished little Liwha.

But Liwha was exactly like her mother.
Evil.

Liwha used her big sister to kill, sabotage and do many more things that Wuryeon disliked. Duri truly did live up to the name as "Duri the devour"

Liwha was selfish. When Duri found a lover, Liwha threw a fit and demanded Duri leave her lover or she will kill them. And of course, Duri did as her little sister wanted

Wuryeon vowed to kill both Cheon Ma and Cheon Liwha for ruining his life.

But when he did, Cheon Duri had killed herself. No longer seeing the reason of living if her father and dear little sister was gone.

Leaving Wuryeon on his own. . .

What a sad book right?

Who would want to be born into that world?

'What the hell'

The little baby stared at a pair of green and red eyes.

"What do you want to name her?"

The one with green eyes spoke. Keeping her eyes on the baby. The one with red shifted his eyes to the little girl in front of him. His eyes softening as he now looked at both.

"You choose." He said in a low voice.

The green eyes girl smiled as she gently caressed the babies hair.
"Liwha. Cheon Liwha."

'. . . Cheon?. . . Cheon Liwha?' The brown haired baby took a moment before she realised where, and who she was.

'Oh shit-'
