It took this image before I realized that Vegeta kinda baby's that arm especially after he's taken a major beating. It makes me wonder if maybe he has a old injury (aside from what 18 did to him in the android and cell saga) that makes him do that.
It would make sense, after all Vegeta was doing dangerous work for years and while saiyans are strong there could have still been a point where he was injured.
