18. Soldier vs Bodyguard

3rd P.O.V

Location: Magnolia, Fairy Tail guildhall
Time: 3PM

As the same day progresses through, Magnolia slowly has its residents returning back home in small groups. Though not in a welcoming atmosphere. Some of their residence were either completely destroyed due to the war, while a small minority still has their home in one piece with everything from interior to exterior, intact.

Elsewhere after exiting Lucy's apartment, Natsu exclaims, "Damn, it feels like yesterday the war has ended~"

"*Sweatdrop-* ...It was, Natsu-" Happy mumbles in deadpan.

"Anyways, we need to head to the guildhall, you two-" Lucy mentions with her brows furrowed, "...Erza told us that we need to be there by 2pm because we're having important visitors- *Taps right-wrist* ...And we are LATE-!"

"Yeah yeah-" Natsu sighs with an annoyed expression.

Sliiide~ Lucy suddenly slides infront of Natsu's bored-looking face, "You want Erza to be mad at us for being late?"

The moment Lucy stated that to Natsu, his eyes suddenly whitens in horror, causing him to grab Lucy's hand and wrap his left-arm around Happy's body, Ruuun~ "Gahhhh-! We gotta hurry, you guys-!"

With his face deadpanned, Happy bluntly comments with a shrug, "Well- That's one way to get Natsu moving~!"

Meanwhile, at the middle-section of the main street of Magnolia, a small group of wizards from Sabertooth are ambling through the slightly bustling city though not many people are seen.

"It's been a while since we last visited here, huh Lector~?" Sting chimes, glancing down at his partner walking beside him.

"Yeah- *Deadpans & sweatdrops-* ...The last time we came here was when Frosche got lost trying to return back to the Sabertooth Guildhall-" The red-furred Exceed mentions, suddenly recalling the embarrasing moment of watching Frosche travelling from Sabertooth all the way to Magnolia's Fairy Tail guildhall.

"Yup, I think so too~" The small pink-themed frog-costumed Exceed chimes.

"You caused a great hassle because of that, buddy~" Lector comments.

"Well, we are almost to Fairy Tail's guildhall, you guys~" Pointing at the orange-themed building with a massive hole left by Acnologia sitting on a high hill, Yukino chimes.

"...I'm glad that we managed to slay, Acnologia yesterday~" Sting mutters in relief, with his eyes soften after staring at the guildhall, "...Not only with Natsu and the other Dragon Slayers in the Time Rift, but with those girls fighting his Flesh Form..."

"400 years of fear, carnage and despair has finally ended-" Rogue comments happily.

"Good news all around~" Orga added.

"...Gotta hand it to them, those girls are quite strong~" Lector commended with a simple nod, "...But what I can't believe is that they were Haru's daughters..."

"...And Kagura..." Yukino added with a slight blush, "...Wait, you don't mean that Kagura was secretly pregnant with Haru's children, aren't you Lector?"

"Impossible-!" Lector instantly replies with a shrug, "...Last year during the Grand Magic Games when Kagura walked up to Haru and gave her that necklace, that was their first meeting after a long time-"

"And they look slightly older then Wendy from Fairy Tail, and Sherria from Lamia Scales-" Minerva hypothesis.

"Maybe they are adopted?" Yukino bluntly suggest.
