Chapter Four

Harry's Pov:

When I got home I put all my groceries in the kitchen and then organised them in my fridge and pantry. I'm a bit of a neat freak when it comes to the kitchen. I love to cook so it's helpful when everything is organised and has its place. (A.N: Don't say you have OCD just cause you like things to be organised, there's a difference. Don't use mental health conditions as a common phrase)

After I finished in the kitchen I got the bag of toiletries and got out the lube and condoms and put them in my room in a drawer. I then went to each bathroom (there are 3) and put spare toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo etc. just for when people like my mum, sister and of course Niall come over.

Now I'm sitting here on my bed with Louis' contact open. I want to text him because he seems lovely and I need more friends. I mean I love Niall but it would be nice to have someone to hang out with when he isn't around. Also now that I have a house here in Manchester, I plan to spend a lot of time here, it's a lovely place. I've always wanted a house here. So it would be nice to know someone here. I must admit it would be nice to have someone in my life who I know isn't just gonna use me for money or fame. I mean Louis had no clue who I was when we met earlier.

'Ok I should just text him already' I thought to myself "here goes nothing" I say out loud to no one in particular

Me: Hey Louis!

Louis is typing...

Louis: Um hi? Sorry, who is this?

Me: Oh sorry I should have said that in the first message, It's Harry from the grocery store

Louis: Of course ahah sorry about that. I should have expected that but anyways. Hi! How has your night been?

Me: Well it started quite strange, I ended up catching someone who fell off a ladder in a grocery store but other than that, pretty boring, just organising stuff in my new house.

Louis: Oh god don't remind me of that, that was so embarrassing :( and yeah you mentioned you were new to the area. Where did you buy a house? I don't remember seeing any houses for sale in my neighbourhood.

Me: It wasn't that embarrassing lmao. I bought a house on Colson Street (A.N: I don't know if this is a real street or not but I'm listening to mgk right now soooo yeah ahah)

Louis: Ohhh so you're in the wealthier part of town huh? Do you live with anyone or is it just you?

Me: Yeah I guess so ahah. Just me, alone in a 4 bedroom house. It's a lovely house though, you should come over sometime. I don't know anyone who lives in the area, so it would be nice to have a friend

Louis: Mr Harry *insert last name here*. I would be honoured haha. Nah but seriously it would be fun to hang out. My only friend is my roommate and best friend Zayn but he's always hanging out with his boyfriend Liam who I'm kinda friends with but I wouldn't hang out with him if Zayn wasn't there so idk but yeah so I'm lonely most of the time too.

Me: Well you've got me beat. My friends are: My best friend Niall who lives in London and Ireland, and my mum and sister who still lives in Cheshire.

Louis: Woah I wish my family was that small. All of my siblings are half-siblings, but I'm the eldest of 7 siblings and then there's my mum Johannah (jay) and my stepdad Dan

Harry: Woah I could never live with that many kids, must be a loud house, I feel bad for your mum lmao

Louis: mhm there's a reason I moved out ahah

I feel kind of nervous knowing he has younger siblings, they could know who I am. I would love to meet them but I would want them to treat me as a normal person and not as "Harry Styles the singer" there's always a possibility that none of them know who I am. Well I guess there's always a way to find out

Me: Is it hard to find things in common with your sisters cause they're younger and probably have different tastes than you like do you have similar music tastes or anything like that?

'I hope I wasn't too obvious' I think to myself as I wait for him to type out a response.

Louis: Oh yeah definitely, I mean we all get along like a house on fire but we are all pretty different and all 7 of us have different music tastes. The 4 older girls who are 23, 21 and 17 have a similar taste though. They like the same sort of artists. But I like artists like Green Day, The Fray, The Script, The Killers, etc.

Me: Ohhh great music taste. I went to a 'The Script' concert in 2009, feels like so long ago to be honest but it was such a good night.

Louis: Same, I went to the script concert in 2009, feels like yesterday but then I realise it was 12 years ago. Like huh

Me: Yeah, which concert did you go to?

Louis: I went to the Manchester show

Me: Wait, are you kidding?

Louis: No?

Me: I was at that concert lmao

Louis: Holy shit. Imagine if we met ahah

Me: Oh my god.. Considering what I looked like then, You probably would have run away lmao

Louis: Nah probably not, I looked like a trainwreck back then anyways, still do but ya know

Me: No you don't lmao

Louis: Anyways..

Me: So if you listen to the script etc. who do your sisters listen to?

Louis: People like Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift.. Umm. there's this one guy who they always play when they're in my car... Henry maybe? Henry Style? I don't know. Something like that ahah

"Well shit." Harry says aloud.

Me: No clue lmao, Ed and Taylor make some good music though. Anyways, I should go to sleep soon, I have a lot of unpacking to do tomorrow.

Louis: I'm not working tomorrow, I can come over and help if you'd like some help?

Me: Honestly that would be great. We could go out for drinks afterwards if you'd like?

Louis: Going out for drinks on a Tuesday? I mean yeah sure sounds like fun either way ahah. Is this a date by chance? Or just laddy lads hanging out?

Me: It's only a date if you say yes. If you say no to a date then it's just laddy lads hanging out I guess.

Louis: Well then it's a date :)

Me: Come over at 10 then? I live at 6 Colson street. Can't wait for our fantastic date that consists of manual labour and getting drunk later

Louis: Sounds like the best type of date. Getting to know each other while we set up your house together and then losing our filter and spilling all our secrets over some drinks

Me: That does song pretty nice I have to admit

Louis: Exactly, see you at 10 :) Goodnight Harry.

Me: See you then, Goodnight Louis.
