Nakuru was still bleeding from their back due to the wings she grew. They started running towards the forest,tripping over some rocks and branches
Walton: "hmm what's that sound?"
Walton turns around to find Nakuru on the ground after tripping over a stick
Nakuru:crying
Walton watches from afar wondering if he should get near them
Walton: "hello"
Walton jumps off the tree and steps closer to the one on the ground
Nakuru who was in the bushes backs away
Walton: "don't be scared of me I won't hurt you." ...not yet at least
Nakuru steps closer still being scared
Walton holds out his hand to help Nakuru get up
Nakuru hesitates but grabs his hand
Walton: "see I'm not scary to some people. Why are you in the woods alone?"
Nakuru doesn't say anything
Walton: "hello there! I'm not invisible so don't ignore me be grateful I'm here. You have a bad wound and I can help!"
Walton pulls a bandage out of his satchel
Nakuru looks at the bandage and tilts her head sideways
Walton looks confused for a second
Walton: "have you never seen a bandage?"
Nakuru shakes their head no
Walton: "this will help stop the bleeding in your leg."
Walton points at Nakuru's leg
Nakuru: "....really?"
Walton: " of course! Now just be still."
Walton puts the bandage on nakuru's leg
Nakuru slightly jolts being touched
Walton let's out a tiny laugh
Walton: "come on get up now it's time for you to go back."
Nakuru's eyes widen not wanting to go back to the so called "hospital"
Walton: "what's wrong you looks scared-"
Nakuru: "NO!"
Walton jumps back at the sudden change in noise
Walton: "okay geez. You have to go somewhere you can't really stay in my forest."
Walton goes to grab Nakuru's arm
Nakuru steps away slowly
Walton: "hey where are you going! Your going to get lost!!"
Walton starts to walk to Nakuru
Stares in fear and try's to run
Walton starts running after Nakuru and grips their arm
Walton: "Gotcha"
Nakuru struggles to get out of Walton's grip
Walton: "fine if you don't want to go back so badly you can stay with me. But you're sleeping on the floor.
Nakuru looks at Walton with hope in their eyes
Walton: " come on follow me"
Walton let's go of Nakuru arm
Nakuru follows Walton
Walton and Nakuru walk up to a treehouse
Walton: "welcome to my humble abode"
Nakuru stares in awe
Walton: "don't just stand there come on in it's going to rain soon."
Walton opens the door
Nakuru goes inside looking around the treehouse
Walton walks into the small kitchen
Walton: "I'll make dinner hopefully your not allergic to nuts."
Nakuru looks at Walton confused
Nakuru: ".....what are nuts?"
Walton look's at Nakuru with a concerned expression
Walton: "you don't know what ....nuts...are? Where did you enter the forest from?"
Nakuru looks down
Walton: " it's okay if you don't want to talk about it."
Nakuru: ".....there's a hospital that is more like a lab... I came from there.
Walton: "so you have also been stuck in a lab before."
Nakuru looks up surprised
Walton: "I was only in a lab for a couple of months before I broke out. Then I built a tree house and I'm where I am now"
Nakuru,shocked that he built this treehouse
Walton chuckled
Walton: "pretty nice isn't it"
Nakuru nods
Walton: "well dinners ready hopefully you enjoyed it took longer than expected."
Nakuru's eyes sparkle
Nakuru: "whoa..."
Walton sets the food down on the table
Walton: "go ahead and eat you must be hungry."
Walton sits down and fills his wooden plate
Walton looks at Nakuru
Walton: "are you going to sit there or eat?"
Nakuru then uses their hand to eat
Walton finishes his food and walks upstairs to go to bed
Nakuru goes to lay on the floor and falls asleep.
