"Hello Hayami? I tried calling you Mom was looking for you at school," Ryu noted lately he's been worried he felt that the last calls he had with his sister he knows that something has been weighing on her. He knew her when she was sad, that she would list all the stuff that she was doing wrong and how she was disappointing their Mom.

He felt guilty for leaving his sister behind with their Mom, being busy with work. Not being there to confront her when she needed her brother. She would still smile and encourage him to complete his semester at California University.

He was feeling homesick and missing his Mom's food and Hayami's singing at karaoke with them together and shopping for clothes cause she always gave tips on his wardrobe. He admits Hayami has a better sense of fashion; it's what made her happy.

Hayami in his eyes is always joyous, full of confidence and pride. He felt that nothing could bring her down. He didn't expect to get this call.

"Ryu! I'm sorry I can't anymore

"Ryu! I'm sorry I can't anymore . . . I had to leave. I left, I left home. I'm on my way to New York!"Hayami claims in between breaths and sobs, Ryu quickly stood up on his feet, gripping the phone close to him.

"Hayami, calm down where in New York? I'm coming to get you." He calmly reassures her to get a lock on where she might be. He can recognize her tone of voice. She was breaking down and she couldn't calm down. She sounded scared.

It scared him for a moment that she kept silent, his sister, the one other sibling he has in this world to be there for him when facing the world. He can't breathe or function what could possibly happen to his little sister.

"Hayami? Please tell me where you are." Ryu pleaded with her on the phone. He heard a shuffling come from her, he could hear her breathing in and out crying.

"No, Ryu. Just tell Mom I'm sorry." Hayami hangs up the call making Ryu curse out loud and quickly calls Hiroshi telling him what happened and to meet him at the parking lot they were heading to the airport.
