Other kids began to come, either bickering or softly speaking to one another. The remainder of the students reached a few seconds after the first, including a new student whose name they had yet to learn. "Hi Miwa," Brina yelled, as she watched a blue-haired girl approaching. She approached Miwa and hugged her.
"Hey, Brina," she called out. "Is that your daughter?" Miwa inquired. Brina nodded as Mizuki fussed. "She's so adorable!" "How old is she?" Miwa inquired. Brina said, "She just turned four months old today." "Ah, she's still so young!" Miwa chuckled as Mizuki babbled back loudly.
"Who allowed a baby here?" A snarl came from behind Miwa. Brina's face went from heartfelt to somewhat irritated as she looked at the speaker. "I did, Principal Gakuganji," she replied bluntly. "I brought her here," she added in a much more serious tone.
"You are not permitted to bring a baby here." Gakuganji objected, pointing to the infant clutching Brina. Bri's demeanor remained unchanged; in fact, she appeared much calmer.
"She's not going to cause any trouble," she firmly answered. "There will be problems if she is descended from your bloodline," Gakuganji stated, Brina's jaw tightened. "My daughter poses no danger to you." She said calmly. "I made the decision."
Brina remarked emphatically as she tightened her grip on Mizuki: "And I'm sticking to it," she said, "And if anyone has an issue with it, speak out now or eternally hold your peace." "I'm not going to argue with a stubborn girl like you," Gakuganji snarled.
Brina murmured sarcastically, "You talk a lot for someone who looks like they've been around since Moses and Jesus roamed the planet." Yuji snickered as the principal's eye twitched. "Now, if you'll allow me, I'd like to end this conversation," Brina remarked before turning away and returning to her place in line.
When Megumi observed Gakuganji's eye twitch again, he shook his head slightly. "I like her right off the bat," the newcomer said. "Thank you, and who are you?" Brina asked her new acquaintance. "What's good, the name is Ishida Keyota, but my friends call me Kyo," he said, bowing his head slightly.
"Ishida, it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Aoki Brina ." Gakuganji sighed and moved away to meet with the rest of the faculty. Todo said under his breath, "It's hot as hell out here." Ishida silently laughed to himself. "It certainly is," he agreed.
