apollo sat down, confused. "what's going on?"
i shrugged, even though i knew exactly what was happening. i took a seat, and gave my brother a smile, hoping to encourage him to continue.
ace collected himself.
he turned back to our father.
spade squeezed his hand, sitting right beside him.
"i know we've never had the best relationship." ace acknowledged. "but.. if you can sit down with cherry's boyfriend, i want you to sit down with mine."
"okay." apollo shrugged. "of course."
"me and spade have been dating since i broke up with my girlfriend. it feels right. nothing has ever felt more right in my life. so.. i'm gay. and even though i'm my own person, and i don't need your validation-"
"i support you. you're my son, and no matter what you do, there is nothing in the world that could change that. ever. having a boyfriend doesn't change that either."
