Cold breeze enfolding us in midsummer,

flowers wither, and the atmosphere is dull

The sky is dark- stars are nowhere to be found

But a leap of faith still lingers on your eyes.

Midsummer is all we've known

Between Scylla and Charybdis, we're torn

As one is ready to jump the fall,

While the other is hesitant to take it all

I've lost you once

As I laid my eyes on the shore,

-rough, plain, pretentious

Foolish enough to missed,

the comfort, and calmness

offered by the sea

I often thought that love was red

-stern, mad, exciting

Until you made those mirage disappeared.

Love isn't red, it was blue-admiring

It was every rest after fights,

It was the calm sensation at nights

Love isn't weak, but love doesn't spite.

I let you slipped again,

Not strong enough to held you in my hand,

For I laid my eyes on the deepest part of the ocean,

-uncertain, perilous and insecure.

Foolish again to missed

the peacefulness and serendipity

Offered by the sky.

I used to believed that love was only blue,

comfort, serenity and calmness

Only to find out, it's also white all along

-pure, innocent, elegant

Yet love isn't just blue and white

It was your every laugh at my jokes,

Every song you sing,

In every dreams you made,

And it was your assurance every time I doubt.

Love exist between the spaces of every word you said,

And even in the smallest of things

Love is there in every prayers.

Love is forgiveness and letting go.

Midsummer will end,

Just like the love we shared

But the memories will haunt us forever

Midsummer slipped in our hands,

Just how fast it would take the sand

But it will never be bland.
