Hello and welcome to this story. This is set in the world of twilight but only by its baseline. People and characters have changed and it will be different than what you know but yet not entirely changed that you don't know what's happening.
I've asked around on here and Instagram as to what you would like to see changed in this universe- more diverse characters, the underlining racisms to be gone, for example- and I've tried to listen to every suggestion. I'm sure as I write, there will be things I've not thought of or not had the chance to even realise myself (since as much as I love this fandom, this universe, it's deeply riddled with bad ideology and Stephanie's Meyers skewered views) so I encourage people to comment and tell me what they'd like to see or happen in this story, this is a open space and I'd love to know your opinions! Want no asshole Jake? Tell me. Want me to kill a character? Tell me, I'll give it a twirl and see if it fits with the plot of the story I have planned. Just please refrain from being rude. I write for fun and because I know others enjoy reading.
Cracking on, the face claims of this book is non-existent as I want you to have a open idea of how changed everyone is. I will describe the characters, but only a little. I love the original actors of this franchise but some of them just didn't fit the ideas I had, especially in comparison to their book descriptions. So, if you could, refrain from thinking of the original faces you know and love (hard, I know, but I have to ask you to try.) and as I know some people have to have something to jumpstart their imagination, I have made mood boards for each character- you can check them out on my Instagram or Pinterest!
And on to my main man, my beloved Malakai. I'm so excited for you to get to know him and his story. He's a little dark- ok, a lot dark, and I've had to refraining myself from keeping him "good" as I've planned this. Either way I love him already and I love the relationship he will have with Carlisle. Fair warning, this will be angsty and it will be a slow burn.
Anyway, I'm so very excited for this. Remember to be kind, remember that characters are different than what you know.
