"Pi equals what?"
Anastasia raised her hand.
Mr.McGovern called her name.
"3.14?"
"BINGO! What about the formula for solving the area of a triangle?"
The three kids in the back laughed as they were not observing their surroundings.
"Mr.Parker, Skylar, James. Stop goofing off or I can find you another room."
They put there mischievous grins on and apologized.
Anastasia rolled her eyes and smiled. Football jocks.
At the end of class he went up to her.
"I saw that."
Anastasia turned to see Parker.
"Sorry."
"Don't be. Kinda deserved it I guess."
"I'm..."
"Anastasia? I know. Smartest girl I the school and all."
She gave an awkward laugh.
"You..think that?"
"Nah. I know that. Well its been a pleasure but I have to go to gym. Till the next time Anastasia!"
Butterflies went through her stomach as he smiled.
She hut her head. Stop. There was no way that was going to happen. Life just didnt work tha way.
