The darkness of night stretches across the horizon as a beast rampages through the city of New York. Innocents dying, cars combusting. In short, the killing of hundreds. Soldiers cower behind the few places left to hide, praying that the beast will pass them by. The Earth shakes as the goddess of the moon prowls the streets, crushing skyscrapers as she goes by. Her paws aggressively destroy pizza place after pizza place.

People shouted angrily at the cat for destroying their beloved pizza place, "I'll get you for that cat!" yelled one man clearly in anguish, having seen his precious taken away.

After disposing of all the pizza places within a thirty-mile radius the goddess turns her attention to a line of cars occupying the highway, Deciding she needs a little more fun with her venture to the city, she shrinks down to the size of a normal cat. Hopping into the first window she sees, she finds herself on the lap of a small child with a moonish face, small eyes, and a big nose.

"Mommy! Mommy! There's a kitten, mommy!" says the child full of excitement.

Luna grows very slowly little by little as the child talks to his mother.

"Can we keep her!?" shouted the child, very ecstatic now, thinking of all the good times he might have with the small cat. Sadly for him, that was not meant to be. "You know I'm starting to get the feeling that the kitty doesn't like me-"

The mother looks back to find her child headless. The small cat was getting bigger by the second. A shriek escapes the mother's mouth, it soon ends when the once small cat destroys the once-intact car. Shrapnel shoots in all directions, metal impales humans all around.

"Meow," Luna says in a cute high pitch while rubbing her head on a car.

In a desperate attempt to capture the vicious feline, the military lay out a path of catnip. Happily, Luna follows the path leading her away from the majority of people.

"This will totally work. No way this will end in disaster!" shouts the Sergeant as he watches the giant cat step onto a huge red X.

In moments, a rope snaps up pulling the cat, who was enjoying her catnip, into the air.

"Humans!" the cat thinks as she snaps the rope with one swipe of her paw.

"Um, Sergeant? I don't think the plan worked-" one soldier says to Mr. Sergeant, who seemed to be very confused.

"I don't get it! The rope was nylon! I made that net myself!" Mr. Sergeant yells, throwing his hat onto the ground and then thoroughly stomping on it.

"Anger issues," the soldiers mutter amongst themselves.

Luna retreats from the scene, leaving the men behind her. Bam Luna's face flies into the pavement and with a crunch, her jaw breaks.

"So this is the famous cat that's been attacking New York? I expected something much scarier," a man in a trench coat walks toward the kitten. "What a nice kitten," he says, stroking the dark fur of the black cat's face while her glassy green eyes follow the movement.

"Murrow," she replies while shrinking. The cat had lost all signs of damage as soon as she shrank.

"Impressive, we could use a feline friend at headquarters." The man looked down at the cat. "You're coming with me, cat." The man picks up the now small kitten and gently puts her in his arms and jumps into the nearest sewage pipe.
