🍂----------------

Arwena awakens, her eyes flutter, the sound of water calming, she sits up shaking the sand out of her hair, she washes away the cuts and mud from her face at the rivers edge. Arwena had always wished to become a adventurous survivor, but now it seemed like a nightmare she wished to wake up to, in her home anther mother calling up breakfast.

Arwena shuffles over to a near by rock, resting her sore back against it. She looks upon the sky, prepared for what this new setting may bring her, she takes a sharp breath of air, her journal now dry in the sun, she grabs it. In this she writes..

I do not know what days of the moon have settled, I do not know where I am, but I will find my way home, restore my home with my mother.

I never knew what it felt like to be an actual adventurer, but im ready to learn and what hardships it may bring. I am to build a home here where as I write this journal entry.

Today I count one sun and tomorrow I shall count two. If you are to find this journal, but perhaps not me.

 I am dead.

Arwena, stares at the cloudy grey sky, the sun poking threw it. She turns her head to take in her surroundings, she knows what she must do to survive, but for now she must rest and replenish her spirit and body, for much has happened and is yet to happen, and she must be ready.

She shuffles to the river, grabbing water cupping it into her hands, running it down her throat, trying to replenish her thirst. The water was fresh and cold.

Arwena shivered as a small fluster of wind overcame her now drenched face. She rushes to find warmth, she used to set fires for her home, her mama too exhausted and nimble to do such work. A tear ran down Arwena's face, salty- staining her cheek.

Arwena, unable to find dry twigs, pulls herself under a leaf in hopes of any warmth, she curls up, she drifts off to a dreamless cold sleep.

One sun.
