Roselyn had been in LA almost 4 months, Christmas had been and gone. it was now almost march. she hated it here. Her cousins and 'friends' who, at the start, promised they would be their to keep her company and hang out whenever, NEVER had time for her. She absolutely hated it here. the only person getting her through this was Tabitha, who was the only one who always had time Roselyn. As for her friends back home, she barely heard from any of them, even her and Walker were on some sort of hold on their relationship like a break. Mason texted a couple times but no one ever made plans to fly out, Zoey on the other hand literally flew out here for Christmas and new years. She spams the fuck out of my phone everyday.

"Tabitha's outside, i'll be back by 11" i tell my mom who just mumbles an 'mkay' in return. i skip down the steps and hop into Tabitha's car, immediately being bone crushed. "hey tabby" i laugh, putting my seatbelt on as she drove away. "so we'll get Starbucks then head to Alex and Kouvrs, your helping me pack for Missouri right?" she asks me, driving into town. "yeah sure" i nod, once we have our Starbucks we head to Alex and Kouvrs where Tabitha practically lived.

"hello child" Kouvr smiles at me as we walk in. "hola" i nod, suddenly being picked up making me yelp. "well if it isn't my favourite cousin of all" Alex grins at me. "hey Alex, please put me down" i smile at him. "more of a 'hey favourite and best cousin in the whole wide world, it's amazing to see you!'" he glares at me. "hmmmm no" i glare back, resulting in me being dropped on the couch. "cmon Rose, we have packing to do!" Tabitha helps me up off the couch. We head to Michaels room to grab some clothes she had there.

"leaving already?" Michael pouts at his girlfriend once we had all the clothes she would be taking. "well i have to pack for Missouri, my stuffs at my apartment" Tabitha explains. i mentally gagged at the two being all cheesy, but it made me frown. i missed Walker. how he was always round and if we didn't have a class together then he'd get upset. i shake my head as Tabitha leads the way back to the front of the house. "bye favourite cousin in the world!" i tease Alex before closing the door.

i realise everyone had jackets and shoes on, as if they were going somewhere. Tabitha was in such a rush to get things done. Alex was being extra nice. what is happening??? "so talk to your friends lately?" Tabitha asks. "i talk to walker a couple times a day, mason maybe once a week, Zoey spams the fuck out of phone" i list off. "i love zoey, her energy is exactly like mine and yours" Tabitha nods making us both laugh. Tabitha reminds me of what i will probably be like when i'm older. She even said i'm like younger her.

"i can't wait to see Missouri again, it feels like forever since i've been there!" Tabitha grins, sensing i wasn't in the mood to be talking about my 'friend group'. Im silent for a while. debating if i should say it. it would seem stupid because there was no rral answer to be honest. "Tab.. you think ill go back" i ask, fiddling with my hands. "i'm sure you will, it won't be to long till everything's back to normal" Tabitha smiles at me, patting my leg as she pulled into the garage.

As we were walking up the steps, My phone rung. i excuse myself and walk back outside letting Tabitha go upstairs to the apartment. I pull my phone out my pocket and see 'Ace📞' is calling. i furrow my eyes brows but answer. almost being deathened. "ROSIE! jesus thank god you answered!" Mason sighs in relief. "mason is everything okay? whyre you calling me all of a sudden?" i question him as i leant on the railing. "your dad, him and Blake broke up" he bursts out. "what" my jaw drops, and my eyes widen.

"they had this huge argument! and now Blake's packing her bags, dude you gotta come home" he explained. "how do you know all of this?" i ask him, confused on how him out of anyone knew. "i wasn't suppost to really tell you but.. we still have dinner at yours every sunday" he mumbles. "oh um- i don't know if he'd want me back home, im meant to be in LA till the baby's born" i reply, i wanted to go home, but this feeling i had made me think i wasn't even welcome there, like it wasn't my home anymore.

"what're you talking about? we all miss you like crazy" mason chuckled, but i let out a scoff. "the only person who actually misses me is Zoey, she's the ones who text or call everyday, they talk to me!" i blurt out, i instantly regret it, feeling terrible. "Rosie- im sorry i really am! i didn't even stop and think for a second and well realise we had drifted, im so sorry Rosie" Mason apologised, i could've cry at how stupid i was for yelling at him. "don't worry about, I'll talk to my dad about it, maybe i'll be home soon, i gotta go though" i tell him, hearing him sigh.

"okay that's great, later Rosie" he says. "later Ace" i smile and the call ends. i rush upstairs and take the stairs as the elevator was being used as someone was moving out in the building. "sorry mason called, um Dad and Blake have broken up, everyone wants me home apparently" i explained to Tabitha as she had literally already packed. "ohh i already knew that, and i've already packed" She smiles at me. "wait- what ? how!" i furrow my eyes brows in confusion. "Walker texted me earlier, and we came up with this plan, him- and your dad, asked me to give you this" she explains, handing me an envelope.
