[9:30 PM]

You were sitting by the fireplace, drinking your favorite drink and reading your favorite book, until you got a call from your mother.

"Hello, darling. How are you?"

"Hello, mother and I'm doing ok. How about you?"

"I'm doing fine but, I was wondering if you're gonna come to our home for Christmas this year?"

"Alright darling, I'm getting tired so I think Imma get me some rest."

"Alright mom, goodnight and love you."

"Goodnight and love you, too."

You hang up the phone and put your phone on the charger, since you have already taken a shower, you just decide to pack up and go to bed.

[7:00 AM]

You wake up to an annoying loud noise, which is your alarm clock that's telling you to get up and get ready.

You groan in annoyance and got up to turn the alarm off. After you turn the alarm off, you decide to play some music and get in the shower.

After you get done taking a shower, you get dressed, do your hair [and put on makeup if you wear any], make your bed, and put everything in the car, including presents, to go to the airport.

[8:20 AM]

You left the house at 7:30 AM and arrived at the airport at 8:20 AM. Since your flight started in 30 minutes, you used this time to go to the restroom and then went to wait in line and do whatever you do at an airport. [I've never been to an airport before so yeah.]

After going through checkout, getting on the plane, and getting settled in, your plane takes off for flight at 9:00-9:10 AM.

[10:10 AM]

You're sitting next to the window with your eyes closed, listening to music with your headphones on, when suddenly you hear something interesting behind you being said.

You know eavesdropping is bad and you should mind your business, but some little eavesdropping wouldn't hurt, right?

You lean back into your seat to hear what they're talking about clearly.

"So yeah, I'm divorcing my husband."

"But why? He seems like a good man."

"He cheated on me and I feel like it's with someone I know."

"That's ridiculous! Your husband is one of my dearest friends and he would never."

"Maybe you're right..."

"Yeah, I am. I know what's best for-"

Before you could finish listening to the rest of their conversation, a lady walked up to you with a cart of snacks and beverages.

"Hello, ma'am! Would you like anything?"

"Um.. sure. Could I have [insert what you want], please?"

"Sure!"

After, she hands you the snack and beverage; you put them both in your backpack and doze off to sleep until you arrive at your destination.

This is my first time that I have written a book on my own will instead of having to do it as a class project. I'm sorry if my grammar is trash but if you do notice any mistakes, please tell me. I would like to know y'alls opinions on this book so I could improve and become better.

Also, this was supposed to be posted on Christmas but I got lazy and decided to rewrite everything. Happy New Year.
