Saying Goodbye - Finlena

Death used to seem as a gift to Finn, but over time he fell for someone, and now he would rather stay alive, just to see her, and talk to her.

So when Finn was on his death bed he got up, he grunted from the pain of getting up. His family looked at him, he was walking to the door.

"Brother where are you going?" Freya asked, her voice shaking slightly. "I have to see someone..say goodbye."

Elijah wrapped Finn's arm around his shoulder, he hated what his brother has done in the past yet he still cares for him.

"Where to brother?" Finn smiled thankfully at his younger brother, he looked ahead thinking of if to let them know.

"Mystic falls, just bring me to Mystic falls." Elijah grabbed the keys on the table and looked at his siblings.

"If you want to come, come along." Everyone went with them, each of them taking their own car except for Finn and Freya who went with Elijah.

They were about to be there before Elijah glanced at his older brother. "Care to tell us who it is that you care so much to see?"

"You'll see." Finn spoke vaguely, not giving any hint too who it was, which made Elijah and Freya confused more.

ts been about twenty-five minutes and they had stopped at a house, it was rather beautiful. Finn excited to see this mystery person, ran out in a flash. He was already infront of the door, his family by now behind him.

Finn knocked softly on the door, hearing the love of his life's heart beat. The door opened to show none other then Elena Gilbert.

Elena looked at the sick looking Mikaelson and looked at him worried, she placed her hand on the side of his face.

"Are you okay Finn?" The Mikaelsons looked confused as their brother leaned into the touch.

"We should probably talk love.." The Mikaelsons looked confused at the twos relationship.

"Yea sure..is everything okay?" Elena walked to the living room, letting the Mikaelson family follow in. Everyone giving space to the lovers.

Elena took Finn into her embrace, scared of if her lover was okay. "I shouldn't of trusted Esther..I'm sorry 'Lena."

Elena felt Finn burry his face into the crook of her neck. "Love I'm dying.." Elena looked shocked, her eyes fill with tears as her voice cracked.

"Wha-What?" Elena tightened her embrace on him. Finn taking charge, placed her on his lap to hug her better.

"I'm so sorry love.." Elena now had her face buried in the crook of his neck, sobbing by now. Elena calmed down swiftly.

"Can we stay like this for awhile..?" Finn nodded. "Ofcourse love.." Finn slowly desicated after five minutes of staying right there, making Elena break down.
