summer was just suppose to be your average best friend character right? wrong! summer was the support character, but in this world she has her place in it. her every day being the same and her life being boring. after having the time of her life over break in the states and back in australia, she had come back to korea a week or two before the favourable yumin 'eve' son was planned to come home.
they shared their moments, and they had their history, but that never stopped her from living her average life. she was a placeholder in this world. another kpop stan who listened to it like it was sacred ground. what was suppose to be special about her anyways?
laying in bed boredly at the latest hour of the day, her phone began to blow up like crazy and it was driving her mad. whenever the other female started to spam, she would try to ignore it for as long as she could, but with each text, it seemed to get more intriguing. opening the chat, she couldn't help but laugh at the female and giggle at the absurdity. she was so stupid that it was insane. it was just some attractive dude at an airport, nothing good comes from that.
if she were in the place of the other, she'd probably react in a similar way, but she was suppose to be the rational one right? what a silly joke. she supposed it was funny to imagine herself as best friend one, the character that was for emotional support for the main character. it didn't matter anyways. she needed some sleep to prepare for the shit the girl would pull the next time they see each other. she did not have the energy to continue to pursuing in staying up for the other to come back to the apartment.

she was once again dragged along to go see some busking and run around hongdae like rampant animals with no awareness of their surroundings. seeing as she was being pulled around everywhere they went, it did seem like side character act. with no significance to the plot as she just watched. and low and behold she watched, did the white haired male that the girl was absolutely pining and swooning over. but she wished that was where her eyes were traveling.
she had to admit, they were attractive. very attractive even. but one stood out like a sore thumb and it was really irking her. every time she thought about it, it made her think about it even more. and no, it wasn't huang renjun, the one i had mentioned she thought was cute all those chapters ago if you even remember that.
that one with the puppy features and cute eye smiles that really made it difficult for her to breathe. he was defined and divine, get it? he was hot. and cute? lord, what was she getting herself into. lee jeno, she's talking and swooning over lee jeno. there wasn't anything significant about him really. every time they were doing a song and he wasn't with the main group at the time, he just sat there smiling so sweetly and without another word. and he just watched the others so adoringly, it was so attractive to her.
