5. "This, i swear."

I sat in my room, silently crying my eyes out as I buried my face into my hands. "(Y/N)? Come and eat!" a loud and energetic voice came from behind the door. I wiped my nose and tried to sound as normal as possible. "U-uh, no thanks! Maybe later Kyo.." I say loud enough so he could hear me.

All of a sudden, the door quickly burst open behind me. "I got you some fo- (Y/N) is everything okay?" Rengoku's energetic voice turned soft the second he saw me sobbing. I didn't answer. I felt him come and sit next to me as he placed his warm hand on my back, slowly rubbing it in a comforting way.

He tapped my hand gently, after that reaching for my chin and slowly pulling it up so i faced him. "Oh my goodness, (Y/N), what happened?" He asked again, as he reached for the end of his haori and wiped some of my tears off. "I see, you don't want to tell me. Very well then." He sighed as he looked at the ground.

"You know, when you cry yourself to sleep and you don't see me, that doesn't mean i'm not standing being your door, waiting for you to come to me. Call my name and trust me, i'll be by your side as though it's only purpose for existence. Loneliness is not a feeling you will ever know again. This, i swear. I'll always be there for you (Y/N). Always." He said softly as i quietly sniffled, listening to his kind words.
