  Current time:

I was in my room. Bored. So I decided to check out what there was in the refrigerator, maybe some fruit? I kind of feel like eating pineapple..

I started to walk into the kitchen and found Levi in the kitchen. As earlier today, he had been invited to eat lunch with his brother, Luca, a.k.a, my roommate. I tried my best to avoid him and not be a bother, and walked past him to get to the refrigerator. As I opened the fridge, something stopped me halfway through opening it.

"So, Light," a voice spoke. I followed where the voice was sounding from. The voice came from Levi, he was leaning against the kitchen's counter, drinking a cup of coffee. The mug had an image of a cat with glasses on. I looked at him and tilted my head a bit to the right.

"Yeah?" I replied, confused. He then stopped sipping from the mug and then turned to face me. He then started to speak, "So, I know I don't know much of you so I was wondering.." Levi then set the mug down, "What was your childhood like?" Levi asked, his hair slightly falling in front of his face. He then rested his face on his hand and set his elbow down onto the counter.

"Well, it's a long story.." I said, then started to close the refrigerator, deciding that the fridge isn't as interesting as before. "So I think we'll have to sit down for a while," I continued, my footsteps becoming a pattern. Then as I started to make my way to the living room, I could feel Levi's presence follow me.

After we had finally sat down, I sighed, " So it all started when I was born, and brought into this earth.."

"If I'm being honest, I had a good childhood. I had a supporting family. Hardworking is what people would call my family. Aside from me. According to my parents, when they first met, it was like love at first sight.

My parents are the reason why I believe that in real love. That love can actually exist out there. Any type of love. Platonic or romantic.

My family was a loving and genuine family. My father was a hardworking dad, yet even so, he tried to give both me and my sister unconditional love. He would go to events we would have, would even clear his schedule for us and our mother.

My mother was a housewife and with a bunch of free time on her hands, she would hang out with both me and my sister whenever she had free time, which was almost all of the time. My mother and my sister had a stronger bond as they were both the same gender and have spent more time together-"

Levi cut in through my speaking by saying, " Your parents are both normal adult height, so how did you become so short? No offense though, just wondering." Levi chuckles nervously, waving his hands up before himself to not seem offensive.

I raised an eyebrow to Levi, slightly smiling at his random question, resting my head on my hand, "That is such a random thing to say.." I said, laughing slightly as my chest started to shake due to my slight laughter.

Then I continued, "Well, I'm 'short' because my grandfather was short and was passed down to me, somehow, due to all this science-y stuff, but I was never really into science so, I wouldn't know."

"Continuing the story, before oh so rudely being interrupted by being asked some random question. As I said before, my mother and sister both had a stronger bond than me and my mother, but of course, we still had a strong bond. Though I did have a stronger bond with my father, even if he was more out-going and my mother being more introverted and self-reserved, both me and my fathers personality somehow fit together.

Sometimes, whenever he had free time and both my mother and my sister were having a girls' night out, my father and I hung out together and sometimes played soccer with each other. And before my sister and mother would get home, sometimes we'd cook food, which would usually be carne asada.

There was something about the way that my dad made it, that it made the food seem like they were dropped down by Heaven and brought down to us as a blessing.

Then we would all sit down like a family and eat together, talk, laugh, tell stories or some random thoughts that you sometimes imagine would happen but would never happen because it isn't scientifically possible to happen."-

I stretched and started to yawn, covering my mouth with my hand. Then sighed, relaxing then falling back into the chair that I was sitting on.  "Tired?" Levi asked, then all of a sudden yawning. I nodded my head, then heard Levi speak up again, "Well even if I haven't heard much already, I've seen a lot and to be honest, your culture is really interesting, not gonna lie. I wish I was Hispanic sometimes.." Levi said, his thoughts drifting to a heavenly smell of Mexican food.

I slightly laughed at his comment and started to think of food as well.
