Trigger Warning: Parent Loss

The roar of the fan was the only thing that could be heard in the room. The apartment of Shota Aizawa was filled with tension as the two people sat in front of each other.

Kazu wiped her sweaty hands nervously on her pants. The brooding alpha in front of her looked more intimidating than the first time she met him. His cold dark eyes seemed like they were looking through her and if she made a single move, he would snap.

Her secret was out now, and as much as she regretted saying the words, a small bit of relief fell off of her shoulders. Aizawa now knows that she wasn't a druggie or a criminal for no reason.

But what is going to happen now?

The million things she wanted to say threatened to spill as she opened her mouth, but the hand that flew up stopped her voice in her throat.

"I just have one question." Aizawa miffed.

"Only one?" Kazu thought as she narrowed her eyes at his words.

"Okay..."

"Who are you?" He asks sternly.

Kazu opened her mouth to speak again but was cut off by his venomous tone.

"I don't mean a sob story or what you tell other people. I want to know the truth of how an omega went 10 years on the street without being discovered and how that omega has been sleeping under my roof this entire time without me knowing."

Kazu sighs. Her eyes casting downwards as her memories flooded her mind. She spent years trying to forget how she ended up in her situation. It was painful and something she wished would disappear forever.

But here was this man who had taken her in when she didn't deserve it. The least she could do is tell him the truth.

"I know you said no sob story, but it's not all daisies and rainbows" she smiles sheepishly.

When Aizawa didn't react, Kazu continued.

"My name is Kazu Kato. That much is true. I never decided to change it, but I also never told many people my name."

Kazu shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

"I..." her eyes began to sting and she took a moment to compose herself.

Aizawa's eyes softened as he leaned forward on the table. He knew his tense body was stressing her out. He relaxed a bit to show he wasn't a threat.

"You can take your time. Present Mic has my class." He says lowly.

Upon seeing Aizawa's mood shift, Kazu took a deep breath before beginning her story.

"My fathers were an alpha omega pair. They were very much in love. When I came into their life, they were overjoyed with starting a new family. But there was an accident that took my alpha dad away."

The ten year old girl shivered as she clung onto her fathers coat. In front of her laid her fathers casket, which was now being lowered into the ground. The flower that rested in her hand was tossed into the hole. Her last token of goodbye. She held back tears as she clutched her omega dad's hand.

Above her, loud sobs could be heard rattling through his chest. Without thinking, Kazu sent her calming quirk through her fathers body in hopes to make him feel better.

"It's going to be okay, Daddy." She tried to comfort him.

The brown haired omega male turned to look down at his daughter, "I know sweetheart. We have each other."
