Falcon and Winter Soldier~

Chapter 1-

Sam was working on the boat that he was hoping to get out for the next season. He was in the ships hull working with Bucky when his sister Sarah came down holding the phone. "Sam, someone's on the phone for you" She handed him the phone with a troubled look.

"Sam Wilson, who's this?" He asked, looking at Bucky.

"My name is Richard Burke. I am a consulate for the German government but also I was a former Hydra agent. I need your help" He said over the phone and Sam scoffed.

"Why should we help you?" He said and Bucky looked at Sam with a raised eyebrow.

"I know you know where winter soldier is and I know you both can protect my children. I think that Hydra is planning a comeback and I fear for my children's safety. I will pay you handsomely if you help me protect them" Burke said over the phone. "I beg of you. My eldest, she's stubborn and I know she would fight if she needed to and rather not her get hurt.. Her and my youngest son will be at my ball and I fear for their safety. If nothing happens, you get paid and I go home. I beg you"

Sam put the phone down and looked at the Bucky with a grave look in his eyes. He told Burke to hold on and muted the call. "He says his name is Richard Burke, he is a german consulate and a former hydra agent...." Sam said.

"No" Bucky said, putting down the tools and began to walk above deck.

"Bucky, there's kids involved" Sam said "They didn't ask for that life man and if he's says hydra is planning a comeback and if that's true then we may have a resource to stop them ahead of time.

Bucky sighed and looked up at the sky. He was hoping that this life would be done especially after fighting new super soldiers. "Fine, but if anything happens......" Bucky said giving in and Sam went back down below deck to get more details and explain that there shouldn't be any funny business. Bucky was hoping that there wouldn't be any regret or worse that it was a trap.

*Night of the Ball*

Bucky and Sam came in looking their best but also making it easy to fight. The consulate came and shook their hands right away. "I am so ever thankful to you two.This is my son Lucas, he's 7 years old and my daughter...." He stopped short when he realized his daughter wasn't anywhere to be found.

"I'll take the boy" Sam whispered under his breath as Richard went to get his daughter. To Sam and Bucky's surprise, she looked about in her early to mid 20's or younger.

"This is my daughter Mari" He said and she just narrowed her eyes to the men. "These are the two that you will be protected with"

"Why exactly do we need protection, Father dearest?" Mari said turning her gaze to her father and was a bit irritated because she knew her father was hiding something. He just nervously laughed and told them to enjoy the party.

"Come on Lucas, you can show me around or something" Sam said and Lucas got excited to have someone to chat with. Bucky tried stopping Sam but it was too late and he turned but saw Mari moving away. "Hold on, your father said I needed to stay with you" He said and she turned towards him.

"I don't know what my father has managed to get himself into but I want nothing of it. I didn't even want to come to this stupid party but he begged me. I don't need your protection" She said and began storming away. He wasn't kidding when he said she was stubborn. Bucky walked up and grabbed her arm with his regular arm. "Listen here, you're going to stay near me and you're going to follow orders. I don't have time to waste with your bad attitude doll" He said and she just looked at him.
