Falling On A Demon

Part - 2

The idea of waiting in the school gone wrong. He didn't allow me to wait outside so he literally bring me inside the council meeting. Now everyone knows about our plan on going out together. Asmo and Mammon insist to go along, I almost say yes and ruin everything. But thanks Diablo for saying that it is a date. Asmo immediately gave up but Mammon still continue to insist for a while then surrender after Diablo told him that he can go with him to the exhibit of gold. Still it feels really awkward, I'm about to faint because of shame. Luckily Lucifer didn't mention that it's my idea.

"So where are we going?" He ask once everyone left and we are at the front of the school building.

I'd thought about it many times last night that I'm not capable on making plans, in conclusion, I didn't able to think on where we should go since I'm not really familiar in this place. Also, I don't have lots of grimm to take him into some fancy restaurant. This is the worst thing I've done and I'll regret it my whole life.

I did attempt to talk to Lucifer about cancelling the plan but he's unreachable for some reason, even after the classes ended he was still in a hurry to catch-up the meeting. So I didn't able to talk to him about it. I hate to disappoint him yet I have no choice but to tell him now.

"I..." Eyes stares at the gate. Maybe there's some place that we can go without using money. "I'm sorry... I really don't know."

Will he get mad?

"What about Hell's Kitchen? You often went there right? Come on let's grab some dinner." He says then step down to the stairs.

Hell's kitchen isn't that expensive, if I remember it clearly. And Lucifer isn't Beel so he won't eat a lot.

"Okay," I quickly follows him.

While eating, I confess all my troubles about this plan and all he does was laugh. A demon laughter, a demon mock. Right now I'm still waiting for his words. Should we go back home after this? I have had enough awkward moments, enough to hunt me when I grow old.

"Why aren't you eating?" Lucifer ask. "If you worry about the bill, I'll pay for it."

"No! It's not that..." I don't want to appear defeated. "I can pay."

He continue to stare at me.

"I'm sorry... I should have not waste your time." I sigh. "We can go home after this."

"What about a walk on the Park? At Sakura Park. Have you been there?"

I shake my head. As far as I remember I haven't been there.

"Are you sure?" I think he just hate making me feel down.

"I want to know what you're up to. On why you invited me out? You don't need to answer it right away. I'll wait until you gain confidence to tell. A walk on the park might make you confess."

A stone suddenly falls onto my head, it push me deeper down to the ground. Of course I need to tell my reason, but is it alright for a woman to confess her feelings, won't it be a desperate move. If I don't, what's my other excuse. I'm sweating cold.

We stop by the arch bridge in the park. The floating lantern on the river is so beautiful. My eyes sparkles seeing a lotus made one, it's so pretty. How they did that? Demons are everywhere too, seems like it's a popular spot for them.

The light on trees looks so magical! Now that I know that this place exist, I'll surely visit here often! Upon seeing all this amazing park design I get too excited that I forgot my struggles.
