Ae Cha's POVI covered his lips with my hand. He opened his eyes and smiled at me as he took my hand off. "You couldn't even let me try huh?" I stared at him, shaking my head. "I can't do that to you Baekhyun. You're my friend. Just a friend." He ruffled his hair as he sighed. "Yeah, I thought so...."
He jumped up from sitting and stretched out his hands. "I guess this is you rejecting me right." I nodded. "Nee." I stood up, staring at him. "You okay?" He shrugged. "Would you be if you were rejected by the person you liked?" "I see your point there." We stayed in awkward silence while waiting for Chanyeol.
He came back with a huge rikkuma bear doll. He hugged it tight smiling. "Lookit! Look at my bear!" I laughed. "It's really cute Chanyeol." "Just like you." He winked. "We should get back to schools guys before the hyungs find out." said Baekhyun. He walked out to the car first. "Is something wrong with Baekhyun? He seems sad now." I shook my head. "Maybe he's just tired, come on let's catch up to him." I mulled over what just happened with Baekhyun in the arcade on the way back.
Chanyeol, of course, was chatty the entire way for the three of us. I glanced over Baekhyun, he was biting his lip and kept his hands tight on the steering wheel. I walked out of the car as soon as he parked. "Thanks so much guys, gotta go bye!" I had to get out of there, I had to give Baekhyun his space and time. He'll get over me, I'm sure. I'm just a crush, that's all.
Chanyeol's POV
Ae Cha seemed to fly out of the car. I could see her running away quickly out of sight. Baekhyun let out a sigh. "You wanna tell me what's wrong now?" I asked. "Nothing's wrong." he said. I rolled my eyes. "Then look me in the eyes and tell me that." I climbed over to the passenger seat and Baekhyun smiled tears falling down his face. I was shocked just looking at him.
"Everything's fine Chanyeol, I just got dumped by Ae Cha that's all." I grabbed him in a hug. "Why didn't you just say so hyung?" He sniffled. "You're so transparent sometimes." He wiped his tears away. "It's okay now Chanyeol. "I kinda knew already that she didn't like me."
I wasn't sure whether I was happy or sad. Ae Cha could be mine now that she rejected Baekhyun hyung but he was in pain and I just wanted to cry with him. I didn't like it when my brothers are in pain. "I guess she's all yours now."
"H-hyung..." "Leave before I beat you up Chanyeol! I'm serious!" Chanyeol stared at Baekhyun and he knew that he wanted to be alone. He walked away and went to go find Ae Cha.
He found her sitting near a goal post on the soccer field. She was sniffling and picking at the grass. She heard him coming and looked up at him. Her eyes were red from crying. "Can I join you?" He asked. She nodded and continued to pick at the grass. He sat down next to her and wrapped his arm around her. She leaned her head against his chest.
For a few minutes no one said anything. Chanyeol wondered if Ae Cha could hear his heart pounding. She was the first to break the silence. "I didn't want to hurt him." She whispered. "I know." "I don't like being the bad guy." "You're not." She turned her head to look at him. "Is he okay?" Chanyeol smiled. "Don't worry about Baekhyun, he'll bounce back." She looked unsure and uncertain.
He could still sense that she was upset so he decided to do something daring. He held her face between his hands, feeling the heat come off her cheeks and wiped her tears away with his thumbs. He bit his bottom lip, how can she still look so beautiful? He felt his own cheeks burning up. "Stop crying Ae Cha, Baekhyun wouldn't want to see such a pretty girl like you cry."
She blushed even more and nodded. He let go off her face and stood up, trying to calm his heart. He held out his hand and helped her up. "Come on, let's go get you cleaned up."
Ae Cha's POV
The next few days Ae Cha did everything she could to avoid Baekhyun. She was scared to see him and cause him any more pain. Although it was nearly impossible to avoid any of the other guys. They seemed to pop out of nowhere needing help with homework, hang out after school or have lunch together. And where there was one, you could expect another 2 to tag along.
Ae Cha was just so exhausted with only getting three hours of sleep, she had taken a 2nd job at a tteoboki restaurant to help earn back the money she spent on her brother. She ached so badly and desperately wanted sleep. It was a free period for Ae Cha today so she decided to sneak into a secluded part of the school library for a quick nap. She curled up in a little ball and used her bag as a pillow. Time for some sleep.
Xiumin's POV
Finally, some peace and quiet. He thought as he entered the library. The guys could be so noisy sometimes and all Xiumin wanted was a few hours to himself. He had the perfect spot where no one could find him. He grabbed a book and headed there when he saw someone already there.
It was Ae Cha, asleep and hugging her backpack. He turned around to leave to let her sleep when he heard her murmur "Xiumin..." He turned back surprised but she was still asleep. He looked at her closely, yes she was still asleep. It was probably the wind but she murmured again "Xiumin...Xiumin, dont go." He smiled. "Was she dreaming of me?" He thought. He felt so flattered and decided to sit next to her.
As if feeling his presence, Ae Cha leaned her head against his shoulder and sighed. Xiumin gulped and fanned himself. He stayed as still as possible to not wake her and glanced at her. He noticed that she had very dark circles and a sickly disposition to her face. His eyebrows furrowed together. "How had he not noticed sooner? Was she not getting enough sleep? Was she sick?"
He wanted to ask her these questions but he didn't have the heart to wake her. "I'll ask her when she wakes up." He whispered to himself. But what if she gets angry? It isn't my place to ask about her business. We're not even even a couple!....not that, I wouldn't want to be...Aish! Get it together Xiumin!
He glanced over at Ae Cha once more and a strand of her hair had fallen over and covered her face. As softly as he could, he gently tucked it back into place behind her ear. At the very least, I should get her somewhere more comfortable. He thought. Carefully he took her bag and swung it over his shoulder, he placed his armes underneath her knees and rested her head against his chest as he lifted her up. Ae Cha smiled as he did so.
Omniscient POV
"Hurry up Luhan hyung! You're getting heavy!" Grunted Tao. Kris, on his toes, looked over the edge of the window. "What's happening?! I can't see anything?!" Said Tao. "Shhh!" Luhan's eyes widened. "Get me down now!" He hopped down and ushered the two into the guys bathroom. "What?!" Asked Tao. "Wait!" Luhan pressed his ear against the door and waited for a moment.
He gently pushed the door opened and motioned for the other two to see They watched as Xiumin walked down the hall carrying a sleeping Ae cha. Luhan smiled smugly. "Aw, that's cute." Said Kris. "The plans in motion guys and everything has fallen into place."
