Dakota Banks- Chicago Illinois 7:30 AM Monday,

"Dakota bitch I feel like you purposely walking slow" dess said while pushing the middle of my back trying to make me walk faster "girl does it matter how fast I walk we gone get there at the same time "bitch I wanna eat I heard they cooking so walk faster"

I rolled my eyes while stepping out the airport, it was currently warm in Chicago so the large oversized hoodie I currently wore was doing nothing but making me sweat and become more irritated then I already was,

"I called for a Lyft but my car is still at my dad house so we just gone have to take this for now" I walked to the already parked car and tapped my hand on the trunk signaling for him to open it "bitch I'm so ready to lay down and take a shower by myself without all them bitches looking at me"

I shook my head while putting our suitcase into the trunks and closing it walking around the car I quickly slid in and shut the door I was beyond ready to get this over with.

We pulled up to my dad house about 30 minutes later, I could see several cars parked outside of his house as if there was some type of party going on which made me roll my eyes "girl what the hell they got going on over hea why it's so many cars" I shrugged while grabbing my suitcase out the lyft,

"Whatever the fuck it is they gone have to leave cause I haven't been to sleep in 7 hours and I think I'm jet lagged" we walked up the narrow driveway wheeling our suitcases, as we got closer I could hear loud music being played from inside the house

I attempted to open the door but only groaned when I realized it was locked and if I was to knock nobody would hear "I'm trying my best to not get a attitude or get irritated but this shit not making it no better" I mumbled while walking around the back "Dakota relax you bet not go in hea with a attitude"

I waved her off while opening the back door gate it was quiet in the back yard and empty , I moved the rock on the ground looking for the spare key my dad kept hidden out here while rolling my eyes "I know damn well he ain't move this fucking key I swear to go-"

I stopped short seeing the flowers my mom had loved growing were now all dead and withered away "what's wrong kota- oh damn" I heard dess sigh while rubbing my shoulder which only made me more angrier,

I stood up straight while opening the back yard door and to my surprise it actually opened, flinging the door to the side I stepped inside the crowded house while scrunching my nose up at the smell of mariguana and food

"Damn what the fuck is they celebrating and why we ain't get invited" I held my head high while shoving my way past some of the people that had gathered together in the kitchen looking around I didn't see Derrick or my dad which was shocking,

I stepped inside the crowded living room seeing several men gathered togther smoking and playing the game "Dakota don't you go over there and-" I ignored him while stomping over Infront of them and snatching the cord out the tv.

"What the fuck-" I watched as one of them stopped short his eyes widening while the other one wore a menacing look on his face "who is this bitch fuck is she on" his deep voice rasped as he stood "aye wop
chill that's-" I cut my eyes around the room seeing somewhat of the party had stopped to see what was going on,

Climbing on top of the coffee table I groaned at the fact it didn't even put a dent in my height "y'all don't gotta leave but y'all gotta the fuck outta here" I yelled while pointing my finger towards the door "girl yo ass sound goofy asl thinking you finna come in hea telling Mfkas where to go" I turned around while swinging my fist back and socking the bald head lightskin one right in his mouth.

"YOU WANNA KEEP TALKING BITCH" I felt myself being pulled off the table as dess walked Infront of me "kota only yo ass would come home swinging on niggas" I heard Derrick say while tightening his hold around me

We walked inside one of the office rooms where several men stood smoking and laughing "damnnn that's lil Dakota" I heard one of them say making me twist my head around "omggggg bookaaaa" I slapped derricks arm making him drop me so I could hug him,

His large arms circled my waist while he bent down to my height making me chuckle "girl I couldn't even recognize yo ass you look good" he grabbed my hand spinning me around while snapping his fingers "don't get shot bitch" Derrick said slapping his hand down.

I laughed before wrapping Derrick into a tight hug "I missed you big brother" I mumbled while hugging him tighter " I missed yo mean ass more man I thought yo ass would never come home" he whispered making a smile grace my face,

"Missed you to boy where my kids and wife at" I said while pulling away and sitting on the edge of wide oak desk my dad kept in his office "they in Atlanta for india mama birthday you know how that go"

I nodded my head while glancing around the slightly crowded office, there was a mixture of excitement and tiredness in me but I considered going upstairs and changing for the party

I got ready to speak when my eyes landed on the familiar face from the picture, he looked slightly different his dreads were longer and they weren't just black anymore they had a few blond streaks,

He looked more buff and tatted up then his mugshot and from the way his mouth beamed when he talked I could definitely tell he had Diamond VVS, trialing my eyes over his face I slowly made my way down taking In his full appearance.

"Damn can my nigga have his face back" I snapped outta my daze feeling my face flush red as I looked
up, there was a tall pretty darkskin girl with large eyes looking at me with a upset yet challenging look "kota come on I been waiting on you forever the people in the front done cleared out" dess said stepping into the office and crossing her arms,

"Damnnn destiny when yo ass get this fine" Derrick said while rubbing his hands togther and looking her up and down "boy see I woulda said thank you but yo ass tryanna make it seem like I use to be ugly assum" she said before rolling her eyes and walking away.

I chuckled while standing and shaking my head "I think we finna crash make sure you check all these people when they leave outta daddy office ion wanna hear his mouth when he come home" I mumbled while giving Derrick one last hug and walking towards the door,

I paused before glancing behind me and looking at the man once more, he now had his eyes on me while  engaging in a conversation with the people around him i rolled my eyes before turning on my heels and walking out the room.
