Auditions

The day before heading back on tour and the family going home, Darcy was looking for someone other than her parents. Literally anyone. The problem was that her Tomlinson aunts went to the mall with Cassidy. Anne would probably tell her she had to tell her dads. Her Auntie Gigi had to go to New York for work and Auntie Maya went home to Texas. She didn't know Amelia enough to ask her this. "Aunt Gem, thank god you're home. I need a ride to something and then, do you want to have girls day?" Darcy asked.

"I would love to but, I can't drive here so whose taking us?" Gemma responded.

"I just texted Paul. I have an audition first. You cannot tell anyone though" Darcy informed her.

Gemma nodded and went to get ready for the day. Paul picked them up and they drove to a building. Darcy had sent an audition tape in a few weeks ago and got a call back. She honestly didn't know what she was auditioning for because it was supposedly a top secret film that would be with big time actors. Today she was going in for an audition but, she didn't want to tell her dads until she got the role.

"So what are you auditioning for?" Gemma asked.

"They were really secretive about the plot of the movie. All I know is that the character is a superhero child or something I'm not sure but it looks fun" Darcy answered.

They waited about 30 minutes until she was called into the room. The room was empty with a table going straight across the back with a panel of people. When she walked in and got a better look, she saw her dad at the table of people who decide who got the part. She knew she was in trouble again. She thought about turning around so he wouldn't see her but, its not like this is nessacarily a bad thing. Harry said he had work today but she didn't ask question because she really didn't care. Harry hadn't seen her yet as he was reading a paper on the table.

"What your name and where are you from?" A lady asked.

"I'm Darcy Tomlinson and I'm from LA" she answered politely.

Harry looked up surprised. "Whose with you today?"

"Aunt Gemma" Darcy answered.

"Okay you can begin when you're ready" a woman at the table said.

Darcy preformed the scene she was given perfectly. Harry was very proud of his daughter.

"Harry is she one of your daughters?" The same woman asked.

"Yes she is. Do you mind if we take 5 so I can talk to her" Harry said.

The woman nodded complimenting Darcy of her acting and how pretty she looked.

"What are you doing here? I mean how did you audition without a parents signature?"

"I'm here to audition because you know how badly I would like to act. I also had dad sign the parent approval and told him it was for school. He didn't question it or read it" Darcy answered.

"Listen I'm not mad but I do wish you would have told me. I'm definitely going to give your father a talk about signing things without reading them. I mean he really is stupid sometimes. Aside from that you did a really good job" Darcy smiled at him. "Here take my card and go get lunch with Auntie Gemma. Maybe invite your sister and other aunts. Don't spend over $2000 though"

"Seriously? Thank you. I'm gonna leave before you change your mind. Love you. Bye" Darcy hugged Harry and ran.

"Love you too" Harry smiled and waved goodbye.

Harry walked back to the table where the rest of the casting team was seated.

"Harry, I hope you know we cannot cast her for the role. It will seem like we just chose her out of favoritism. But she was really good and I don't want her to waste her potential. I'm also casting for a show on Netflix called Stranger Things. She the perfect age and she has skills. Could she come in for a chemistry read tomorrow?" Carmen, the woman in charge of casting told him.

"I completely understand what you're saying and I'm sure she'd love to audition for Stranger Things" Harry smiled.

"Wonderful, I think we should call it a day from here. Have a good rest of the day" Carmen smiled.

"You too" Harry smiled walking out to his car.

While walking out Harry saw Darcy and Gemma outside.

"Hey, I thought you guys were going to lunch?" Harry asked.

"We're waiting for Paul to pick us up. We also invited dad, Nana, Auntie Lottie, Uncle Niall, and Amelia. They are meeting us there" Darcy said.

"Tell Paul to have a day off. I'll drive" Harry told them while they followed him to the car.

When they arrived at the restaurant the others were already they're sitting at a round table in the back.

"Hey babe" Harry greeted Louis with a kiss on the cheek.

"Hello love, how was work?" Louis greeted him.

"Slow, but I have exciting news for Darcy." Darcy whipped her head around. "So Carmen is the also the casting director of Stranger Things, so she was wondering if you would come in for a chemistry read tomorrow for the upcoming season. I told her you'd love to"

Darcy squealed, "That's like my favorite show ever."

"Which is why I assumed you would want to go tomorrow. The rest of us have to go to New York though so we are going to have to find someone to take you" Harry told her.

"I'll take her Harry. Don't be silly Id fly across the world for all of you anytime" Anne smiled.

After many congratulations and good lucks were said and they ordered dinner. It was going very well with lots of wedding talk for Niall and Amelia.
