I stopped by the cafeteria. Today felt a very usual day than a majestic one when you keep bumping into global stars every now and then. I didn't ran into any idol other than the posters and wallpapers.
I took a sip of my hot coffee as I stared at the wall across me with a wallpaper of V swallowing it whole. He was looking like a Greek God. As beautiful and exquisite as a Greek God. He's not an ordinary human being. Ordinary ones have some defects in their beauty. Everytime I see him it seems like he was specially made to be this popular in this world.
I raised my eyebrows in response to the thoughts I was having when I felt a cold hand on my skin. I turned back while I hardly managed to save my coffee. It was Jiha. I exhaled in relief. She was smiling at me.
Soon we were sitting together, not In the cafeteria but outside, in the garden.
"How was your day?" I asked.
She was still smiling and not answering. How can someone smile for so long. Don't she get weird thoughts which ruin her mood every now and then?
She finally raises her head,"It was good."
"Just good?"
She gives a barely visible nod. I nod in response but it was visible.
"What's bothering you?"
"I think Im in love."
I laughed. I literally laughed like I thought it was a joke. She looked mortified and I felt anguish.
"I'm so sorry, I thought you were joking. Are you sure to call that love?"
She glances at me and nod again. A reassuring nod as if she is making herself clear to her.
"Who is it?"
She glances at me as if I would laugh even more if she tells me who that was. I eagerly wait for her answer.
"It's just... He.... I mean..." I place my hand on her shoulder and gives a slight pat.
"You can tell me. I am your friend and you are the only person I can call a friend here for now."
She looks up at me with sparkling eyes and smiled again. I smile back.
"It's this boy I have my seat next to. He's so kind and he.." and then she stops and I know exactly why she stopped, because she was finding herself meaningless. My look was also indicating that to her.
"It's a love at first sight?" I reassure.
She nods.
"Congratulations!" I hop on my feet," You are in love!"
I squeeze her hands in mine and make her stand too. I make her jump with me. First she seemed uncomfortable but then she was hopping with me.
We were laughing and chuckling.
She then hugged me.
"Can we two stick together for the rest of the time we spend here?"
I nod brightly.
"Now!" I stand straight and put my arm out as I point ahead "Let's get you your man my friend."
