It was the 3rd week of bandcamp, and Lilah was getting along with everybody, and having a lot of fun! Her mom and Blair's mom, Anne, had reconnected and hung out. Lilah had came with, as she always goes with her mom, and she talked to Blair a bit! Speaking of Blair, he had said he was gonna show her a few things after practice, and she was gonna go to his house, instead of the coffee shop!

The 4 low brass members were sitting under a few trees, that they called 'Low Brass Bump' A very original name. They had just finished sectionals, and were gonna run through the second song. Speaking of the songs, Lilah was able to somewhat play them all, and play a little bit of the first song while marching! But then Mrs. T called them over to the center.

"First, around the world! And since it's very hot today, and I'm feeling nice, set those instruments down!" Going onto her favorite purple dot, which was front row, next to Drew, who was on the end.

She did fine going forwards, but when they went to go backwards, Lilah's ankle twisted, and she fell, scraping her hands. Despite the small injury, she was fighting herself not to slip. Luckily, Drew brought her back into her thoughts, holding an arm out.

Taking it, gratefully, she got up. Though once she was steady, she felt herself being brushed over, hands being inspected.

"I'm fine! Ankle just twisted.."

"Whatever you say little miss. Anyways, we are holding them up, come on!"

"You were the one babying me!"

Jogging back to her dot, she nodded at her band director and they started again, this time she succeeded!

"Alright guys! Let's run through the second song. For now, go the whole way through, while playing!"

Groaning, everybody went to their spots. Lilah wiped the sweat off her face, and emptied her spit valve.

They were 3 sets away from the end when it happened. Lilah was marching on the right side of James, so she couldn't see him. James stopped suddenly, and Lilah bumped into him. Bouncing back and falling to the ground, specifically on her knee, she was already fighting slipping. But when she looked at her bloodied palms, she slipped. Tears filling her eyes as everybody stopped and stared.

"Lilah are you alright?"

All she could do at the moment was do the sign for little. Drew picked her trombone up off the ground, and handed it to Blair before running off to their band director. She saw Drew whisper something, and Mrs. T nodding.

"C'mon Lilah! We get to eat lunch early."

Throwing her arms up and doing grabby hands, she was shocked when she got placed on her hip. As her mom wasn't the strongest, she wouldn't get picked up, just guided with a hand hold, or a hand on her back.

Laying her head down on Drew's shoulder, tears finally started to fall.

"Do you want your bag too? Oh! Please don't cry, you're okay.."

Drew hushed her, bouncing slightly as she decided to grab the bag. Setting Lilah down on the table, then quickly picking her back up when she let out a wail. Lilah was tapping on her mouth, wanting her pacifier.

"Can you use your words?"

Lilah opened her mouth, then closed it againing, then did the sign for 'pacifier.'

"Close enough! Do you have it in your bag?"

Drew watched her nod with the saddest look on her face, before digging through the bag. Eventually, she found a green teddy, and a purple pacifier!

"Here you go! Stop those tears, please."

Drew bounced her a bit more before Lilah was comfortable enough to sit down.
