It was a fresh and sunny day...

No! It was actually a pretty hot day, the one where you would rather sit down in your house and enjoy the cold air conditioner shooting on your skin. But not for this insect monster, the young moth woman stood on the front porch of the household she grew up in. The girl had been accepted into her dream college, Monsters University. Boy, she was thrilled, couldn't say the same thing to her parents. They're what you called, a worried wort, mainly her mother. Being smothered by her mother's kisses and affection she attempts to pull away from her mother's tight grip.

"Ma!.." The long antennae moth softly spoke. Though it wasn't loud enough for her mother to hear.

"Ma!" She spoke again. This time she raise her voice, but still no response from her mother.

"MA!" She yelled finally grabbing not her mother's, but her Father's attention.

"Linda! You're smothering her again." The male moth would nudge his wife.

"Oh! Sorry." She apologizes before finally backing off. "Oh, Bella. I'm gonna miss you soooo much. My baby has grown up so fast."

Bella, the soon-to-be college student, nodded her head. Yeah, yeah, her mother said that same sentence many times this morning. But she's being honest, Bella would miss her parents too.

"And make sure you watch out what's in your drinks during a party!" Bella's Father was about to start another lecture. But thank goodness her mother was there to stop him.

"Markus!.." Linda nudged while hissing at him. "But, your father is right." She agreed.

Bella playfully rolled her eyes before grabbing the luggage she had placed beside her. Swiftly giving her parents a smooch on the cheek she dashed off the porch before waving goodbye to her parents.

"I love you! And I promise to be back around winter break!" Bella shouted right before making her way to the bus stop.

During her walk to the bus stop, the boiling hot sun began to take effect on poor Bella, god she wish she had brought her bucket hat with her. Wait what the hell? I don't have to walk, I can just fly! Fluttering her silky eye pattern wings she managed to transport herself to the bus stop much faster than she would have got there by walking. What a relief. Bella sat in the shade for a good 13 minutes before the bus finally arrived. Eagerly standing up from the ages bench she happily hopped onto the bus. The bus door shut behind her as Bella scanned the isles to find an empty seat. Jackpot! Second to the last aisle on the right. Two empty seats. Sliding her way across the aisle, she Perched herself in the window side and her luggage on the outer seat. Just before the bus was about to hit the road and small green hand slapped against the bus glass door.

"Wait!" A muffled voice spoke behind the glass door.

The bus driver rolled her eyes and pushed the button causing the door to swing open once again. The monster happily entered the bus. Bella observed the appearance of the green monster, he was short, ball-shaped, and had a big eye in the middle. Boy, he was small but he sure was strong to carry so much. Bella was a little judgmental, she silently thought to herself that he was no one important. Probably gonna be a can designer, how boring. Finally, the bus driver stepped on the gas pedal and off we go! Monsters University awaits me.
