Chapter 5

Ayra's pov:
I came back from the park and straight away went to my bed to sleep because i don't have a habit to wake up early so i was really sleepy. I woke up due to the ringing of my phone. I checked my phone, it was Ayesha. She was asking me to come to her house because she was getting bored.
I got up, took a shower, wore a sweater with jeans and went downstairs.

" Mom, I'm going to Sara auntie's place. I'll be back in an hour" i told mom. She was working in the kitchen.

I pressed the doorbell. Maryam came to open the gate. We went inside. As it was Monday, auntie uncle were not at home neither was sarim. Auntie was at university (bcz she is a professor) and uncle at his office. Sarim was in university. Ayesha, Maryam and I sat in the lounge. We decided to watch something on netflix.

" Lets watch a horror movie" Ayesha and Maryam both said excitedly.
" No No plz, lets watch comedy movie" I said.
" ku apko dar lagta ha horror movie dekhnay say" Ayesha said with a teasing smile.
" Nhi mujhay ku dar lagay ga. Me to tum logo k lye keh rai thi" I replied with confidence but deep inside i was scared.
Ayesha played "The Nun" and turned off all the lights. Ayesha and maryam were sitting on the floor and I was settled on the couch with a cushion in my lap. I had a coke can in my hand.
The whole time we were watching the movie, I was really scared. All of a sudden, i heard someone's footsteps.
" Ayesha maryam tum logon ko koi awaz ai ? " I asked them to confirm if i really heard something or was i just imagining things.
" No api, there's no one at home except three of us. Aap movie dekhain aram say " Maryam said. They were so engrossed in the movie. Suddenly, i felt a pat on my shoulder and i started screaming.

Sarim's pov:
I decided to go home early because i didn't have anymore classes to attend. I opened the main door with the key and entered the house. All lights were off and some creepy horror sounds were coming from the lounge. I knew that Ayesha and Maryam must be watching a horror movie so i entered the lounge. I didn't expect ayra to be there. She was looking so scared that i decided to prank her. I went near her and patted her on the shoulder. She started screaming and spilled the coke on the floor. Ayesha and maryam were startled due to her screaming. I turned the lights on and started laughing looking at her face.
" Ch ch, such a scaredy-cat you are Ayra" i taunted her.
She was looking at me angrily.
" Bhai bhaag jain agar jaan pyari ha to" Ayesha said because she knew how short tempered ayra is.
I started running with Ayra behind me.
" Sarim me bta rahi hun ruk jao warna acha nhi ho ga" she said.
While running i came to the lawn. I stood behind the swing in the lawn. She tried hard to catch me but couldn't.
" Me ja rahi hun, me he pagal hun jo tumsay dosti ke menay." She said and went to her house.
" Ayra yaar mazak kar raha tha me" I said but she was already gone.
I went inside and sat on the couch. Ayesha came and asked me about Ayra.
" Chali gai ha wo naraz ho k" I told her.
" kya bhai, kar dia na apnay unko naraz. Itni achi friend hain wo meri. Zarurat he kya thi prank karnay ke" She said.
" tumhari akeli ke dost nai ha wo meri bhi dost ha, or mujhay kya pata tha wo serious ho jaye ge"
" Hain? apki kab dosti hui Ayra api say" She asked
" Aaj subha he. I saw her in the park. Wahin milay thay to karli dosti"
" Aaj he dosti kar k aaj he naraz kar dia. Jain mnain ja k unko ab." Maryam wo was silently sitting on the couch now said.
" Should i go to her house? "
" Yes " They both said in unison.
