You and Jo were similar, both of you were introverted and weren't very good at expressive yourselves. But when you two were paired up for this one project, Jo had the courage to express his feelings for you and since then, you guys were in a relationship. 

The thing is, none of you have actually said the words "I love you" to each other. You guys are good at expressing your love through little things like doing the dishes when one is late or preparing a hot bath, but never the words. You decided that you're gonna change that.

While Jo was at the company, you decided to cook his favorite dish and a chocolate dessert as he loves chocolate. Setting everything up on the table, you waited for him to arrive as you sat alert. As soon as the doorbell rang, you dashed to open the door and greeted your boyfriend with a huge smile. 

Confused as to what suddenly happened to you, he let out a smile and walked inside, just to see his favorite dish on the table. He dropped his bag in awe and stared between the table and you with his right hand over his mouth. 

Jo turned to you and held you by your shoulders.

"You did all this for me?"

"Yes."

You softly held his hands and looked down as soon as you felt your cheeks heating up. You didn't want him to see you blush.

"You know Jo, I've never told you this but...I love you, I really do Jo. I'm not the type of person who talks a lot or expresses herself a lot, but I really wanted to let you know that you are loved. I love you, and I'll be there for you whenever you need me."

"Y/N...I..I love you too Y/N."

He held your hands tightly and raised them to kiss your knuckles softly as he looked at you. Flustered by his actions, you looked away and bit your lip. Jo smiled and kissed your hand again.
