Naga

Isaac and Lee were lost. Really lost. Everywhere they looked was just bushes and trees. They began to lose hope.

"Lee, I don't think we're ever getting out alive."

"Shut up and help me set up a camp. We gotta find a place to make fire so that wild animals don't come near us."

Isaac sighed. This was supposed to be a fun trip with his best friend through the Amazon forest. Illegal without a guide and a bad idea nonetheless, but they never thought things could go THIS wrong. It had started raining multiple times, they didn't bring enough supplies, they were practically done for.

"Lee... it's gonna rain soon again, the fire will go out."

Isaac said, pointing up at the rumbling sky. Lee ignored him and insisted they build a camp anyway.

Neither of them noticed it getting dark while they were arguing.

"You don't understand! I really know my shit when it comes to survival, Isaac!"

"No you don't! You know just as much as me and it's nothing! We're lost, Lee! If we don't starve to death some tropical disease will get us!"

"Oh shut up, you."

Isaac couldn't contain his frustration, sticking out his middle finger to Lee. Offended, the tanned brunette stomped away from his friend.

"Bye then. Have fun figuring shit out on your own!"

Isaac gasped, not knowing what to do with a friend leaving him in the middle of a tropical rainforest. And as if things couldn't get worse, termites got in his shoes. By the time he got them out it was completely dark. There was no hope in searching for Lee anymore. Defeated, Isaac let out a sniffle. Then the sniffling became a soft sobbing. Tears gently rolling down his rosy cheeks, he cried. Suddenly he heard something. Behind him? No, above him. Before he could look up properly, a scaly but soft tail wrapped itself around his waist and chest snugly, lifting him up into the treetops. Isaac screamed for dear life but soon was silenced by a hand covering his mouth. His tears streamed down his face, scared to death. He saw a face, half of it covered with scales and two eyes with slits for pupils. A sharp toothed humanoid creature, below his waist a giant snake tail began and never seemed to end. Isaac tried to wriggle free, but the snugness soon became breathlessness. Then, it spoke.

"What do we have here, hm? Are you lossst, human?"

Or rather, it hissed. Isaac tried not to shit his pants or pass out from fear. What was left of his breathing soon sped up to hyperventilation. The creature looked concerned.

"Be ssstill, human. I do not inted to hurt you."

Isaac didn't listen. His ears were ringing. This is it, he thought. This is how i die. The creature saw that his hushing was futile and wrapped its tail around Isaac's neck, nearly suffocating him. It grabbed his cheeks and forced him to look into its piercing blue eyes. Isaac felt like passing out. Suddenly, the grip around his body loosened. Isaac's eyes went wide as he gasped for air. Then it came. Subtly at first, but mesmerising still. Isaac saw rings of bright, illuminating colors emerge from it's pupils, filling its eyes entirely. It was like ripples on water. It felt relaxing. It felt nice and safe. He didn't want to look away. But something in him screamed for his attention, to not give in, and Isaac wasn't easy prey. He managed to close one eye, the ripples pulling so strongly at his gaze. He formed words in his head into a question, and asked it.

"Wha- What is... this... what are you...?"

The creature answered with a seductive hiss in its voice.

"I am Ssseth, you humansss call me Naga. But don't you worry your pretty little head, human... Go to sssleep..."
