It's New Year's Eve and while most everypony in Equestria is just chilling out, relaxing in their homes spending time with their families all across Equestria, Rainbow Dash is racing like a jet as, not only did she forget to return a book to the Golden Oaks library, but she also has given a present to Applejack Apple Bloom Big Macintosh and Granny Smith at Sweet Apple Acres, Rarity and Sweetie Belle at Carousel Boutique, Pinkie Pie Pound Pumpkin Carrot and Cupcake at Sugar Cube Corner, and even Fluttershy and her chaotic guest of this Hearths Warming Eve Lord Discord at the Everfree Cottage. However that still leaves Rainbow's pseudo little sister Scootaloo, lone male Cutie Mark Crusader Spike Sparkle, and the Ponyville Town Librarian Twilight Sparkle, whom are all currently located in Twilight and Spike's house, the Golden Oaks Library.
Twilight Sparkle, the Local Librarian, Guardian of Friendship, and Personal Protégé to Princess Celestia, the Queen of the land in literally everything but title, is setting up the Golden Oaks Library for the Guardians and Crusaders Hearths Warming Eve Party while unOfficial Dragon Crusader Spike Sparkle is keeping an eye on Pegasus Founding Crusader Scootaloo Shutter simply because he likes hanging out with the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Dash gets to the library and knocks on the door once before Twilight opens it letting her in, making Rainbow nearly tumble forwards in a front flip from how hard she was knocking.
"Whoa, Rainbow Dash! Please try to be more careful, Please!" Twilight exclaims with concern while physically grabbing the fast-flying pegasus to keep her safe and on her hooves.
"It's fine, I'm okay Twilight, I'm just trying to get the Daring Do book and yours, Spike's and Scootaloo's gifts to you guys!" Rainbow explains, giving Daring Do and the Quest Through the Terrifying Forest back to Twilight, as well as giving her a present.
"Awe thank you Rainbow Dash! But please come inside we have to take a look at your body to see if there are any injuries." Twilight orders worriedly.
Before Dash can say anything, Scootaloo and Spike hit the bottom step of the Golden Oaks
