A Year Later

Ennard finally earned my trust after the incident. I was walking around the town and found a kid named Ray he seemed to be crying so I came up to him and asked if he was ok he was hesitant to answer at first but he told me he had run away from an orphanage. I asked why but he started to cry then I realized it must have been a sensitive topic for him so I instantly apologized and he said it was ok but I asked if he had anywhere to stay and he said no so I asked if he could stay with me for a while. He said "yes" so I took him to my home I told him he can stay in the guest room till I can make room for him. I asked if he was hungry and he nodded so I had gotten him some food I asked how old he was and he said "13" I was shocked when I asked can I enroll him in school and he agreed so I called the nearest school to enroll him and he had gotten accepted into the school on Monday I dropped him off and he went to school I drove home and wondered what was ennard doing I had not seen him at home at all when I returned home I called for him and he came from the vents onto the floor and asked what I needed and asked if he was possessed and he nodded so I dragged him to the basement to give him an illusion disk which made you look human and so he inserted it in and turned human and by that time it was time for Ray to get home so I waited outside of the house and he looked so happy so I smiled and he hugged me than he instantly pulled back and apologized for hugging me. I was shocked I thought what has this child been through? Then I told him it was ok and asked if I could adopt him. He instantly started tearing up, said yes several times, and hugged me. Then I asked if we could go shopping for clothes and then he asked "why do I only need this pair?" then I told him that you need more than one pair of clothes so I took him to a store and we bought 100 dollars worth of clothes. Then we went shopping for things to go to his room. A day later we had already put all the decor up but today Ray told me something that put me in fear.
