I pace nervously in the corridor, not bothering to sit on the benches provided to wait.
"Y/N," Fred says softly, "Sit down. It's going to be fine."
Sixth years lined the benches and walls. Some were nervous, some looked bored, some were hastily scribbling answers on their palms in a last-ditch effort. This was our last OWL, and it was potions. Of course, the worst was saved for last.
I sigh, slumping into a seat next to him.
"Why are you so stressed? You'll ace them, you always do" Fred wraps his arm around my shoulders, pulling me into his side.
"No I don't, I pass them. There's a difference" I huff, crossing my arms.
"But you're still passing them, which is all you need."
I groan. "But potions have been hard this year. I'm going to fail."
He laughs "No you won't."
"Don't laugh at my despair," I glare at him, "You don't get it, you don't care about your grades."
"True." He states "Probably end up dropping out."
He looks happy about that.
The door opens and Snape glances over the large group of sixth years that have accumulated.
"Well come on, we mustn't waste time" He sneers, swishing his cloak as he reenters the dungeons.
Fred kisses my cheek and leans down to murmur in my ear "You'll do great, Love."

"I'm so glad they're over," Lee groans as he flops into an armchair by the fire.
The Gryffindor common room was mostly empty, most people at a post-OWL's party that Hufflepuff was throwing. Lee and I decided to hang back and chill.
"I know" I sigh, sitting back on the plush red couch. "Brewing that potion took ten years of my life."
"Merlin, you two are boring," George says, suddenly appearing in the portrait hole with Fred on his tail. "Still talking about OWL's? They're over, as Lee said, so stop talking about this rubbish."
He sits in the armchair opposite of Lee, only upside down with his legs flung over the back of the chair.
"I thought you two were at the party?" I ask.
Fred lays down with his head in my lap, and I automatically start running my fingers through his hair. His eyes flutter shut.
"We were," George says. "But it was Boring with a capital 'B'. The Hufflepuffs just don't know how to throw a party up to the Weasley Twin standards. There wasn't even any alcohol!"
I glance at Fred's relaxed face.
"You sure?"
Fred snorts "We nicked some Fire whiskey from the kitchens before going in."
I open his eyes gently with my fingers, pupils a bit dilated. I raise an eyebrow.
"And how much did you have?"
He just grins, pressing a kiss to my hand.
"We're not drunk, but we're definitely not sober either." George says.
Fred starts trailing kisses up my arm.
"I can see that." I state.
"Do you still have some?" Lee asks.
George pulls out a bottle that's a quarter full from his jacket and tosses it to Lee, who downs it in seconds. I shake my head with a sigh.
Fred pushes up the hem of my sweater to start kissing my stomach.
"Will you stop that?" I swat at him. He just hums and keeps kissing. I ignore the tight coil of heat starting to burn in my core.
"Third task is in a few weeks," Lee grins "Who we betting on? Still Harry?"
"I'd say him or Pretty Boy Diggory," Fred sneers in a mocking tone. He sits up slowly, pressing his face into the crook of my neck.
"Fred." I mutter "Stop being so clingy."
He hums in protest, mouthing at my neck. I shiver and he grins.
"I mean, Harry did win the first task." George says.
"But Cedric won the second," Lee contradicts.
"Let's just say, it definitely won't be Fleur." George stretches with a groan.
Lee grins, "She's hot though."
I take a deep breath, trying to ignore Fred's ministrations that neither of the other boys have noticed. I bite my lip to hold in a sigh as he sucks lightly just under my jaw.
"That's true," George grins back. "Think she'd go for me? I mean, she turned down Ron, but I'm ten times better looking than him. And more mature."
Lee laughs "Sure you are"
"Fred," I hiss. "You're going to leave a mark."
"That's the point, Love" He pulls back, and runs a thumb over the spot that I'm sure has a love bite, admiring his work.
"Really?" I ask, annoyed.
He kisses me, I kiss him back. "You taste like fire whiskey" I mumble against his mouth.
Lee groans. "Seriously guys? Oh, no. No one else is here, just go ahead and make out wherever you please"
Fred flips him off, not pulling away. George snorts.
He kisses me harder, slipping his tongue into my mouth. I can't help the small noise that escapes me.
"Alright" George stands "And that's our cue to leave before this gets any more disgusting. Come on Lee."
Lee stands too.
"Don't make any babies while we're gone," He jokes, and they both head upstairs.
Fred pulls away, smirking.
I narrow my eyes.
"What?" He asks innocently.
I stand as well. "Night Freddie"
His smile drops "Wait what? But we're alone now! It was just getting good."
"I'm tired," I shrug, walking towards the stairs. He runs after me like a puppy.
"Let me stay with you tonight. We can cuddle" He pouts. I hesitate. "I'm tipsy remember, it's not safe to leave me alone."
"Then I'll leave you with George and Lee in your dorm"
"But I can't kiss either of them!" He exclaims.
I laugh, "Ugh, fine. Come on"
In my dorm, which is empty since the other girls are at the party, I make Fred turn around so I can change into pajamas. He takes off his shirt, leaving his pants on, so I steal his shirt and replace my pajama shirt with it instead. He runs his eyes over me.
We crawl into bed, my head settled on his chest, legs tangled beneath the covers.
"Night Y/N/N" He mumbles, already drifting off.
"Good night, Freddie"
I want to start writing me, I'm going to try my best!
This was more of a filler chapter, more to come!
