IN THIS CAGE || HOONSUK (on-hold)

I was shocked when Master Hoon suddenly said that I'm his slave. My heart thumping in excitement, and there's a bit of nervousness filling my stomach but I put it away. I steal glances at him through the corner of my eye. He has that intimidating aura around him that could make anyone tremble in fear and respect him at the same time. It is kind of amazing and weird how powerful he is.

After saying his sentence, Master Hoon walks away, followed by Haneul. Then, I'm slowly following them, but their pace is so fast that I can only keep up with them by running. Soon, we finally arrived outside of the building. I see Haneul went ahead to an expensive-looking car. I couldn't help myself but be amazed at how beautiful the car looked. I wonder how much it costs. Then, Haneul opened the passenger side door for Master Hoon.  He nodded in acknowledgment and then entered the car. Haneul then closes the door behind him.

After that, Haneul gesturing me to get in the car too. I am clumsily climbing on and sit inside the front seat. After making sure my seat belt is secured, Haneul started the engine and drive away. My heart rate was starting to speed up again as well as my anxiety. I clench my hands into fists and stare straight ahead on the road. It's quite chilly inside the car, but sweat is dripping down my forehead. I gulp my saliva, trying to calm myself down.

"So, Choi Hyunsuk, " Haneul's voice made me jump. I turn my head towards him. My heartbeat starts to increase even more. His eyes are focused on the road. I could feel my palm starting to become clammy.

"Y-yes," I stuttered out. Haneul chuckles. "Choi Hyunsuk, you seem nervous,"  he says, eyes still on the road.

"Uhm, excuse me, Sir Haneul, you may call me Hyunsuk, and please drop formality too," I replied politely. It feels awkward hearing someone who has a higher position than me calls me by my full name. He then chuckles softly.

"Why are you looking so tense?" Haneul questioned again while glancing in my direction for less than a second before focusing on the road again. I took the time to answer. "Well, this is my first time being someone's slave. I don't want to screw everything up." I explained truthfully. My fingers are fidgeting nervously. Haneul chuckled lightly again.

"There's nothing to be worried about. As long as you're doing your job right, I believe you'll do fine," he said reassuringly. I let out a sigh of relief and felt a little bit better.

"Thank you, Sir Kang," I say back. Suddenly, he let out a loud laugh which makes me flinch in surprise.

"Aww Hyunsuk, you're so respectful. Unlike that grumpy Lee Won, who just gives off the feeling that he'll kill anyone within a 2-kilometer radius. Errr I'm having goosebumps now," he said while rubbing his arm. His smile seems to fade away as he continues to look ahead. Now, I wonder who is this Lee Won that Haneul mentioned. Maybe he's a person like Master Hoon? If his stance is enough to intimidate huge build Haneul, he probably must be a very scary person who's much taller than him. Just the thought of it makes me gulp.  I shake my head to stop my thoughts from going crazy.

The surrounding is quiet as I continue to watch what's outside my car window. I can feel a little bit calmer than earlier after hearing Haneul's assurance. Kang Haneul is Master Hoon's assistant, which means he takes care of most of his important matters. Haneul is a really big guy that I have to rises my head high to meet his gaze. Despite his size, he is a nice guy. He is easy to talk to, well maybe too easy but I don't mind that. It makes me comfortable even though I almost can't react to his words and sentences. But that doesn't stop him from talking.

I then glance through the rear mirror seeing Master Hoon closes his eyes.  He's sleeping, probably exhausted by all the work he had done today. He might as well get used to super talkative Haneul so that he can sleep with his loud voice echoed all over the car.
