She looked around the hallway. It was 3 in the morning. The witching hour. All the doors were closed except for one. She slowly walked towards it. It was just her parents right? But when she looked inside, she saw a horrifying sight. It was.. a thing. It had a face with dark black eyes and white bumpy skin. It's arms reached past the floor as it dragged them as it walked. It was dark black. Very dark black. It's bones were so visible. It was a terrifying sight. The girl screamed and as she ran, the thing said. "Wait. Stop." She stopped as she feared her life. It started walking towards her, then it stroked her face with its insanely long arms. She wasn't so scared anymore. Perhaps she made a new friend.
"Hello. I'm Rosie." She said. The creature then spoke, saying; "I don't have a name anymore. It would be nice of you to give me one." Rosie thought and thought of a perfect name for the creature. She then said, "Do you like Bobby or Billy?" The creature responded with "Bobby."
"Great choice." Said Rosie. Bobby then said, "What do you like to do?" Rosie said she liked to do art. "I imagine the world as art, and imagine I'm on an adventure around the village." She continued.
"That sounds fun. I don't do much in a day, just walk around the village."
"Then how do people not scream if you look so scary?" Rosie asked. "Well you see, I'm a ghost so nobody can see me. I just hide around all day." Bobby said.
"Oh. Do you ever do anything?" Rosie asked. "No, just walk around and watch the people through their windows." Bobby said again.
"Cool. What do you want to do?" Rosie said. Bobby responded with, "I want to take a walk."
"Ok! That's cool, let's walk around the village." Rosie said
And so they did. Rosie taught Bobby how to pick flowers and make flower crowns. "You look great in one!" Rosie said, as she made a matching one. Rosie then had an idea and ran inside. When she came back she had a bracelet making kit with string in it. "What colors do you want?" She asked Bobby.
"Red and white." He said. Rosie made his, then made a pink and purple one for herself.
"They are friendship bracelets." Rosie said.
"Really? We didn't have those when I was alive." Bobby said.
"That's odd.. whatever, you are supposed to wear them everyday. You don't have to though." Rosie said.
"I will wear them everyday." Bobby said.
This routine continued. Rosie and Bobby would meet at 3 AM sharp, take a walk around the village, sit under a tree, and talk. They even made a handshake. It went like this:
Put your hands together.
Then Rosie would say, "Your a beautiful monster. Your beauty never ever scared me."
Then Bobby would smile.
True friends, am I right?
