The divine smell of sausage being cooked was what originally caused a sleeping Weiwei to return from the throws of sweet slumber. She slowly came fully to her senses when she heard her father's voice telling her that she needed to get up or she'll miss her train. Confused, Weiwei's eyes shot wide open only to see her childhood room. The beauty grasped for her old phone and noticed it was the phone that she lost at the start of sophomore year. Focusing on the date she observed in bright white numbers that it was the last week of August four years in the past and not the June wedding night like she fell asleep in. She reached for her hair to check its length and it was just barely past her shoulders. Like it used to be in her senior year of high school. She moved her hand up to her cheek and the slight sting she felt when she pinched herself told her that she was in fact fully awake and not having some crazy realistic dream like she hoped for.

Weiwei took a moment to take a deep breath to get her emotions under control so she wouldn't have a breakdown. It was far too early to panic, at least not yet. She needed to be level headed right now. What she needed to find out was whether her beloved husband remembered or was it just her stuck in the past. If it was just her she wouldn't know if she could handle it. Taking another deep breath she cautiously unlocked her phone and started to carefully dialed a number that has been engraved in her memory for the past two years. Her heart hammered in her throat with each ring before she heard the voice she most longed to hear answered the phone.

"Xiao Nai..." Weiwei trailed off unable to come up with an explanation of who she was if he did not remember. It was just barely five am; still far too early to be calling anyone.

"Weiwei my darling, are you alright? Where are you? Are you safe?" The normally calm Xiao Nai breathed a great sigh of relief at the sound of his missing wife's voice.

"Dashen I'm safe. I woke up in my old bedroom and my phone says that it's August, four years ago. What's going on?" Weiwei finally let the hysterics out.

"I don't know my love, I don't know. When will you be traveling for the start of the semester?" Xiao Nai had already done the calculations on what was so special about this year and month. It was easy to determine that this would be approximately the time that his beloved should be starting her freshman year here in Beijing.

"In a couple hours according to the ticket on my bedside table. I woke up when my dad called out for me to wake up so I could get ready for the train ride." Weiwei answered realizing that they won't be parted for long but it was still not ideal.

"What's your arrival information? Are you traveling alone or are your parents traveling with you as well?" Xiao Nai asked.

"I should be arriving in around five hours; train 817 direct route from Wuhan. Platform 15. Just me. My parents wanted to come but they could not get the time off work." Weiwei informed and could hear Xiao Nai shuffling something before the tell tale sound of the Windows chime booting up along with the sound of his efficient clacking of typing. Weiwei figured he was probably checking the information she just gave him. "Dashen, I am going to need to hang up soon. I need to get ready to depart. I can hear my dad setting the table now."

Xiao Nai gave a sound that he registered what she said and then paused in his typing. "Go get ready and I will see you at the station. Oh and Furen, come back to me safely."

Weiwei smiled at his touching remark as she told him goodbye and rushed to get dressed and was getting inpatient on her departure. After dressing she took a moment to pack a few more items that she would prefer to have with her instead of waiting for her first trip home to have access to again. She was still at a loss at what was going on but at least she would have her darling husband along the way. Unfortunately, she frowned, they would have to wait a minimal two years to be married again due to the age restrictions. But probably closer to four so she could get her degree, again. Perhaps she could double up on her needed credits for her first few terms so she could graduate faster. Granted that meant less time with her roommates but at least it would be that much quicker for them to get married. Also, it is not like she didn't already know the information considering she had just graduated less than a month ago in their original timeline. With the start of a plan she took her luggage out to the hallway and joined her parents in the dining room to eat her final meal at her parent's table for the next few months or longer. Weiwei tried to not rush through breakfast but it was just too hard not to; she was ready to go and she was anxious to see her husband again. By the time she got to her assigned seat on the train and shot a quick text to Xiao Nai that she was on the train she was a bundle of nerves. This train could not get to Beijing quick enough for her tastes.
