no one's pov:

It was a cool and windy day in the open yellow void which Oodle's competition takes place. Most of the objects were enjoying the cooler day considering the weather was essentially unbearable about 5 days ago. It was just too hot to handle. One of these objects in particular included Nabla, who was writing on her chalkboard off to herself. She was trying to prepare for the next challenge despite having no intel on what that would be. After about 20 minutes of intensely focusing on what she was writing, she glanced up from her board to notice her girlfriend, Glue, leaning against a rock nearby evidently half-asleep. The heavy eyebags under her eyes indicated that she was extremely sleep deprived, concerning Nabla. Without hesitation, Nabla meandered her way over to where Glue was lying. When Glue noticed Nabla standing above her, leaning down at her she gave her a tired smile.

"Hey Nabla. What's up?" she asked softly, obviously trying hard to hold back a yawn.

Nablas leaned against the rock, still looking down at Glue. Up close, Glue's eye bags looked a lot more bold and her body appeared very limp. Saying Nabla was worried was a huge understatement, but she knew that she needed to stay calm for her lover.

"Oh my gradient, Glue, you look exhausted! Are you feeling okay?" Nabla questioned, a little loudly than she wanted.

Glue, clearly not catching onto her loud tone, gave her another smile although not convincing.

"Yeah of course. Why wouldn't I be?" she lied.
Nabla raised an eyebrow at her, obviously not buying it.

"Glue.....how much sleep did you get last night?"

"Uh....I don't remember. Why are you-"

With that, Glue collapsed onto the ground from exhaustion, answering Nabla's question. Nabla released a long sigh before picking Glue up, bridal style. Without legs, this wasn't an easy task, but Nabla knew she had to make do.

"Okay, let's get you into bed...."
