--1st September 1939--

It has been weeks since a Cease-Fire has decided by the two Waring Factions in Polonia to decide what will happen to the fleet stationed at Gdańsk as the flagship of the navy Wicher refuses to join or split the fleet until an agreement was decided. Under the terms of the cease-fire, the nation was going to be split in two following the current frontlines with the navy going to the faction that had the access to the sea in exchange for financial compensation of half the fleet's worth. The fleet was also going to stay in the port of Gdańsk and not be used by the Iron Blood due to a concern in the Royal Navy this was added and the half of the country that was going to control the fleet now known as Polonian Territories reassured the Royal Isles that they will keep the fleet Neutral since although they saw the Iron Blood as the lesser evil compared to the revolutionary Northern Parliament.

Sadly the Royal Navy decided to ignore all of the reassurances by the Polonian Territories government, The Flagship Wicher and Even the other half of the previous country now known as the Fist Lech republic, weren't enough to stop the Royal Navy from sending a fleet to the Baltic sea. Somehow the Fleet led by the Battlecruiser Hood and Assisted by Repulse made it thru the Iron Blood Blockade and made their way just kilometres away from Gdańsk. That was when Hood sent out the Message to Wicher, the flagship could only look and stare in horror as she saw the two Battlecruisers assisted by Aircraft Carriers laying mines outside of their port. Of course, Wicher was heartbroken seeing that the Royal Navy didn't believe the peace deal or all of the reassurances that the fleet would stay in Port and be neutral. Seeing how there was no way that they would betray their country and put the legitimacy of the peace deal in question, Wicher didn't respond nor did she send out a distress signal. The other 3 Kansen only looked at the Royal Navy fleet outside their port. Burza could only look with tears in his eyes as he saw what he believed to be his friend outside ready to shoot him if she got an order without a second thought, Burza had spent a lot of time in different ports and Countries as he had the role of the representative. It didn't matter now that he had met Hood on many occasions just like it didn't matter that he meet Akagi or Bismarck as both of them were in their bases oblivious to what was going to happen, the only Male Kansen could only hope that somehow God would save them all as he preyed on the shore of the base next to his ship.

As time went by the two Battlecruisers raised their guns towards the harbour, no longer were they just showing their guns no, the two kansen now stood with their riggings out and ready to shoot their trajectory already calculated as planes from carriers that were just out of the view circled the port. And as time went suddenly a number of bells could be heard... it was the time for the evening mass, as civilians walked out of the port to attend church, Wicher set out to meet the two Royal Navy Kansen out at the sea. The three other Kansen already heard what they were supposed to do and waited for the moment, all of them hoping that maybe they won't have to go with the Peking plan and instead Wicher will talk the two Battlecruisers out of it. Burza in the meantime didn't watch the conversation between his flagship/older sister and the Royal Navy as he knew the outcome, he spent enough time to know what will happen so he made last-minute preparations.

And so the sound and the signal everyone waited for happened, As Wicher stopped talking to the two Royal Navy kansen they lowered their weapons so that instead of hitting the port they would hit what was in front of them. Wicher dodged the first salvo of the Royal Navy Main guns and seeing how she was entitled to self-defence she turned on her smoke screen. The smoke obscured the port as the wind blew in such a way that Wicher was still exposed yet Gdańsk was now not visible. The three Kansen were no longer in port as sirens blared loudly and Servicemen fled their base in preparation for the Incoming attack, there was no point in defending it and it would be less costly to evacuate. Burza was the last of the three to leave as even though he was the first ready to leave, he wanted to make sure that at least his friend made it if more Royal Navy Kansen appear. Thankfully only the two Battlecruisers were ready for surface combat

The battle between the lone destroyer and the two Battlecruisers didn't last long, as after she dodged the initial salvo she was struck by secondary guns and bombs from planes, Wicher could only watch as the Royal Navy Kansen came closer. Because her rigging was now destroyed she only looked at the approaching her now enemies and smiled knowing that her friends and Family were now safe from the Royal Navy, and free to decide their own Destiny. "Any Last words Storm?" Hood asked not even giving the respect of saying the name in the native language, "Widzimy sie w piekle (We'll see each other in hell)" Wicher said as she closed her eyes for one last time as a salvo of 38cm Shells tore thru her penetrating her Armour and destroying her from the inside as shells left nothing but a bloody mess around staining the blue clothes of Hood.

Wicher sacrificed herself just so her Allies could escape and choose their own path. The News of the Royal Navy attack and the death of Wicher spread quickly and stirred world politics more as Iron Blood and its allies saw it as Royal Navy breaking the agreed terms of the Polonian Armistice. Because of that, the two nations were now once again at war, yet this time it was different as the war expanded onto the entire world as Crimson Axis stood behind the Polonian Territories and Azur Lane sided with the Royal Navy and the First Lech Republic.

After the successful escape, the three destroyers were slowly approaching the port of Gdynia the other base of the Polonian Territories government. But as they were getting closer they began talking. "So what do we do now... we can only go back and join the Iron Blood" Grom said which made her younger sister shocked "What are you talking about grom, the only reason this is happening is because of Iron Blood" Błyskawica said. "No, the Royal Navy pulled the trigger they sunk her, peace talks were done everyone agreed and yet they came to kill us" Grom continued as the two Sister Became angry "But if not for Iron Blood intervening we wouldn't need an armistice" Błyskawica countered. "Right Because you'd rather we turn ourselves and surrender to the Northern Parliament" Grom said annoyed at her sister, "You know what... Wicher said we can choose our own path so Piedol się (Go fuck yourself) I'm going to the Royal Navy" Błyskawica cursed as she turned back with now a white flag flowing high. "So that leaves the two of us eh, Burza?" Grom asked the last surviving Wicher class destroyer, "I am not joining you, but I'm not going to the Royal Navy, I have to protect our people so go and fight with the new government, I'm declaring neutrality" Burza said as the two Kansen heard a transmission from the Port which said basically what Burza meant, that the port was declaring itself as neutral and all the other things. "So i guess that's the last I'll see of you Burza, even though I don't like the fact you don't want to fight for your sister... I understand, just know that if the Royal Navy shows themself one again to kill you, I'll be waiting for you with open arms" Grom said as she turned back to Gdańsk since the Royal Navy already left back in fear of getting caught by the Iron Blood.

That left Burza alone in the port as he had now only a single purpose in life. And that was to serve his people even if he was the only one that represented the old 'Polonian Republic Navy' he was going to make sure everyone adheres to the rules of the sea in the territory of the now neutral city of Gdańsk and along the coast of Polonia, because for him it didn't matter if the people identified themselves with the new Polonia or the Lech Republic they were all deep down Polonians and his people even if that put him in the crosshairs of both factions as Burza even though a destroyer was seen as the successor of Wicher meaning that whoever had him also was the true successor of Polonia and for now the true Polonia laid in Gdynia and the neighbouring cities that decided to join it.
