So...I'm alive. Sorry it took so long to get the last part out, I've been very busy with work and haven't had much motivation to write recently, but I managed to get it done. Yeah, it might be a bit on the very long side, but I couldn't find a good point to split it up, so it's basically two parts in one. Most of it was written in the middle of the night with me being in a very chaotic mood, so that might reflect in my writing.
Oh, and to that one friend that made fun of my asexualness shining through in my writing because I send more time describing scenery than the characters and had 'the one hot guy' almost eaten by a shark, just deal with it. You know who you are...
Anyways, have fun reading, I'll be focusing on writing requests again, so feel free to leave some :)

Louis POV
Waking up on the land was hands down one of the weirdest experiences in my life. The sun is a lot brighter up here, not being broken by the water, so the rays of sunlight blaring in my face woke me from my exhausted slumber.
I was still very tired and the stinging pain returned a few seconds after I regained my consciousness, but all in all it was a lot more bearable than the day before. Perhaps that comes from the fact that I no longer have my tail.
I wiggled my newfound toes as I continued to ponder on that thought, quickly choosing to stop doing so after I found that the movement made my injured legs hurt more, choosing to instead observe my newfound surroundings.
I was looking around the brightly lit room, the morning sun pouring in through the window, when I heard a soft groan from beside me. Quickly whipping my head around, I found that I was not alone in the soft contraption humans call a bed.
Besides me lay a head full of messy, brown curls, face buried into the headrest thingy. I'd have to ask later what that was called, but for now, my main concern was the complete stranger asleep next to me.
I'll have to get out of here before he wakes up. If I'm found by humans, that would be bad. I vaguely remembered the events from the day prior, where the kind human with beautiful green eyes had saved me from certain death.
I'll have to thank that human if I see him again, but for now, getting out of here is my first priority. No matter how good one human may have been, that cannot be said for the others.
While thinking that, I carefully dragged myself away from the sleeping human, being careful not to make any sounds that would wake him. The fact that I couldn't use my legs without a searing pain shooting through them proved to be a bigger issue than I had anticipated.
I got startled out of my careful escape when the human groaned again and turned around, causing me to jump and fall backwards, off the bed. A burning pain immediately shot through my legs at the impact and I could not prevent the cry of pain that left my mouth.
Tears filled my eyes as I sat on the floor, willing the pain to die down. I was so caught up in my predicament that I hadn't noticed the human had woken up until he called out to me.
"Wha- Louis, are you okay?!?" Came the panicked, but familiar voice, together with those beautiful green, but alarmed looking eyes peeking at me from the bed.
The human from yesterday immediately stumbled out of the bed and crouched down beside me. "What happened, why are you on the floor?" The human questioned in a concerned tone.
I was momentarily lost for words. What was I supposed to do in this situation? My eyes were still filled with tears from the pain that was searing through my body, I had no idea where I was and all I knew was that this human had been kind enough to help me.
