A black cat sat on the curb of the busy street. It meowed at the strangers who walked pass."Cleo come here." My father called from the kitchen.I took one last look at the cat from my window then I went down the stairs, I could hear the news on the TV." Cleo how is school?" My father asked, pretending not to know the answer."Fine."Fine, no not at all, I was failing two of my classes ,and had gotten into three fights just last week. "Thats good." He said with a faint smile. "You'll be late you better hurry." Ah yes school how could I forget to go to that horrible place. With a nod of my head I grabbed my bag and was out the door. As I made it to the bus stop the black cat took its turn meowing at me. As I boarded the bus it ran into the alley.
