The night sky becomes bright as the sun rises over the horizon. Jay, a leopard frog, awakes to the sound of buzzing around his home.

"Who's there!" yells Jay angry that he was waken up. "Shown yourself."

'Buzz, Buzz, Buzz.' Jack the fly comes around some tall weeds.

"Hi friend" says Jack.

"You woke me up!" says Jay.

"The sun is shining, the sky's awake so should you."

Jay rolls his eyes and enters his home made of mud, grass and sticks. He prepares a coffee for himself and reads the morning Ribbot. There's been a series of break-ins. "The Cookie Burglar" is on the front page. Jay looks over to his jar of cookies panicked. Luckily they're still there. 'Buzz, Buzz'. The annoying sound of buzzing at his door. 'Knock, knock'. Someone knocks on his door.

"Who is it?" asks Jay.

"It's the cookie police. We are making sure your cookies are safe and sound." says someone.

Jay gets up from his chair made of sticks and opens the door. It's Jack wearing a police uniform.

"Can I come in?" asks Jack.

"Sure thing officer. Sorry I yelled at you earlier, I didn't know that you were an officer of the law." says Jay apologetically.

Jack enters his humble little home. He admires the paintings made of different shades of mud. He looks at the cookies and asks, "Can I count them? Just to make sure they are all there." Although Jay is confused, he complies. Jack proceeds to count each cookie.

"Twenty-two, twenty-three. Looks like they are all here. Sorry to bother you. I will be on my way." says Jack. "Can I have some water?"

"Sure," says Jay as he goes outside to the pond to grab some water. While Jay is outside, Jack pours the cookies into a sache. Jay enters the home and gives Jack some water. Jack gulps it down and flies out the door.

Jay feels sorry for yelling. He grabs the jar of cookies to put it back on the shelf. It is oddly light. Jay opens the jar to discover that it is empty! He runs out the door screaming, "Cookie Burglar."
